compile a detailed report.

Submission Date:

26/08/2024.

Steps to Follow:

1. Research:
o Understand the basic principles of air purification.
o Investigate different types of air purifiers (HEPA filters, activated carbon filters,
UV light purifiers, ionizers, etc.).
o Identify the common pollutants that need to be filtered out (dust, pollen, smoke,
pet dander, etc.).
2. Planning:
o Decide on the type of air purifier you want to build.
o Sketch a simple design of your air purifier.
o List the materials and tools required.
3. Materials and Tools:
o Gather all necessary materials (e.g., filters, fans, UV lights, activated carbon,
plastic containers, etc.).
o Ensure you have all required tools (e.g., screwdrivers, glue, tape, scissors, etc.).
4. Building the Model:
o Follow your design to construct the air purifier.
o Ensure all components are securely assembled.
o Test the air purifier to ensure it works effectively.
5. Testing and Refining:
o Test the air purifier in different environments.
o Make note of any issues or inefficiencies.
o Make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
6. Tracking Progress:
o Maintain a project diary/logbook.
o Record each step of your progress, including any challenges faced and how you
overcame them.
o Take photos at various stages of the project.
7. Report Preparation:
o Introduction: Explain the purpose of the project and the type of air purifier you
chose to build.
o Brief about ‘Importance of Clean Air in Schools’
o Materials and Tools: List everything used.
o Procedure: Describe the steps followed to build the purifier.
o Testing: Explain how you tested the purifier and the results obtained.
o Conclusion: Summarize your findings and the effectiveness of your model.
o Reflection: Discuss what you learned from this project and any improvements you
could make in the future.

o Align the Solar Air Purifier School Project with the SDG Goals
