Quiz. # 2.

Donna Josefa C. Conejos

1. How can you make assessments precise, accurate and dependable?

Give students several opportunities to demonstrate achievement of each learning outcome. When students
complete more questions or tasks in the domain of each learning outcome, they provide more-and-more
representative/evidence of their achievement in that domain.

2. How do you clarify learning targets?

When setting the learning goals/objectives, one needs to be clear about what you expect the learning outcomes
should be. Not all students will be able to access the knowledge, skills or understanding in the same way, which
means that the objectives need to be differentiated.

3. Why is it important that learning targets and assessment task/activities are matched? Explain.
It is important that learning target is aligned with instructional strategies and assessments to ensure that
everyone involved is aware of the expectations. The success criteria and teaching strategies need to be aligned
with those assessments in order for the teacher to accurately evaluate the knowledge of the students.

4. How we can apply Bloom’s Taxonomy?

Use the action verb to inform learning intentions. There are lots of different graphics that combine all the
domains and action verbs into one visual prompt. Once you’ve found your favorite, keep it handy, use it to be
deliberate about where you are pitching lessons and avoid falling into the trap of using the same old learning
objective verbs all the time.

5. Why is it important for teachers to implement all six levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy in their lesson plan?
As a framework to support teaching and learning, Bloom’s taxonomy is the most widely used and enduring tool
through which to think about students’ learning. The goal of an educator’s using Bloom’s Taxonomy is to
encourage higher order thought in their students by building up from lower-level of cognitive skills, that’s why it
is important.

6. What is the contextual significance of Bloom’s Taxonomy?

It lays out a framework for understanding the different levels of learning. Bloom tells us that students must
master lower levels of learning before they can attempt more complicated tasks.

7. How can Bloom’s Taxonomy help students?

Bloom’s Taxonomy helps encourage and teach students to make their own decisions just in a classroom setting
but also helps promote a life skill.

8. How it can be used to classify learnings?

It used to classify educational learning objectives into level of complexity and specificity. The models organize
learning objectives into three different domains the cognitive, affective and sensory/psychomotor.

9. How can using Bloom’s Taxonomy be helpful in teaching and assessment?

It is a good heuristic for teachers to understand the varying levels of cognitive, psychomotor and affective
demand that teachers have as outcomes for students. It also helps with assessments in terms of matching your
assessment items to the level of your objectives.
10. In what level of Bloom’s Taxonomy would you use difficult type of question? Why?
I think, I will use a difficult type of question in evaluation level of Bloom’s Taxonomy, because it is the last part
and this is the time to know if the students acquired all the knowledge you gave to them.
