 【Vacuum Centrifugal Concentrator Working Principle】
Centrifugal concentration is a process of evaporating solvents to concentrate or dry biological (non-biological)
samples. The samples proceemistry, biological analysis, immunoscreening, food safety,residue
analysis, etc.
The working principle of the vacuum centrifugal concentrator is as follows: As the pressure decreases, the boiling point of
the solvent decreases. When the pressure drops to a sufficiently low level, the solvent begins to boil and evaporate.
To prevent sample bumping and cross-pollution, the machine adopts an electromagnetic-driven centrifugal
system to ensure that the sample remains inside the sample tube without splashing out. The centrifuge chamber is
equipped with a temperature control device to create an appropriate environment to compensate for the energy
consumed during evaporation, ensuring safe and efficient sample concentration.
The low-temperature cold trap is an efficient solvent recycle device used to condense solvent vapors and
recycle the solvent. It can rapidly capture solvent vapors before they reach the vacuum pump, reducing the amount of
vapor and improving the vacuum level of the system. This helps to avoid sample cross-pollution, enhances the
efficiency of the vacuum concentration system, and protects the vacuum pump from solvent vapor corrosion.
The vacuum pump operates in a vacuum state, lowering the boiling point of the solvent and accelerating its
evaporation rate. During the concentration process, the sample undergoes low-temperature evaporation,
which prevents the deactivation of heat-sensitive samples.
