GENERAL FUNCTION & DESCRIPTION
1. REZERO FUNCTIOIN (Use at change zero point)
■ Rezero band range : Within 2% of Maximum capacity

Zero point is changed. Press 'Zero' key. Zero lamp is ON.

2. TARE FUNCTIOIN (Use at weighing in use of TARE)


■ Maximum TARE range : Maximum capacity

Put the TARE on platform0 Press 'TARE' key. Put the object on platform
(TARE weight : 10kg) (The TARE weight is saved) (object weight : 20kg)

Note : The weight including TARE weight can't exceed the maximum capacity

■ In case to want know the Gross weight

Press 'NET/GROSS' key

Remove the TARE and object form platform to display the saved TARE weight

3. HOLD FUNCTIOIN (Use at weighing the moving object)
■ Auto hold function (Hold function operated whenever weighing)

CONVERSION MODE
1. ENTER method
If you press the * key for three seconds to normal operation state, after display "SET"
Message for one second and then enter.

3. CONVERSION menu (F01 - F06)


F - 1 : Auto power OFF setting.
F - 2 : RS-232C communication setting.
F - 3 : Select print format type.
F - 4 : Stable condition
F - 5 : Display Time Control
F - 6 : Hold Time Control

■ F - 1 : Auto power OFF setting


Auto power OFF function is used to spare the battery by means of power off
when this scale is not used.

INSTALLATION & CONNECTION


1. Load cell connection
- Load cell connector with the load cell port of indicator back panel.

Connecting method

Wire color can be different depending on the load cell's manufacturer or it's model.

USING
■ Replace the general(Mn, Alkaline) battery or charge the rechargeable battery
in full at using after long-time storage

■ Power on by pressing ON/OFF key in the front panel

BATTERY
1. Battery replacement or charging time
■ Power is off in a specific time after lamp is on in the right top of display part.
The battery lamp is on when the amount of battery is about 6.9 V and power is off
When the amount of battery is about 6.5V automatically.
■ When the lamp is on, replace the dry or charge the rechargeable battery.

2. General (Mn, Alkaline) battery using and replacing


■ Open the top cover and make as follows in the left bottom of cover at using the
general (Mn, Alkaline) battery.
■ Insert the battery into the battery case after checking the battery polarity.
Warning
Open the cover and check the battery type.
If the battery is not the rechargeable battery (this is : Mn, Alkaline),
Never connect the AC adaptor jack in the back panel

3. Rechargeable battery using and recharging


■ Open the top cover and make as follows in the left bottom of cover at using the
rechargeable battery.
■ Open the jack protecting cap in the back panel and connect the adapter as follows.
■ When the adapter is connected with indicator, RED(POWER) and RED(CHARGE)
lamp are ON.
■ When the charging is completed, CHARGE lamp is changed to GREEN.
■ It takes approximately 4-5 hours to charge in full.
4. Battery using period

BACK LIGHT(E.L) is not used Mn Battery : Approx. 100 hours
Alkaline Battery : Approx. 250 hours
Recharging Battery : Approx. 30 hours
BACK LIGHT(E.L) is always used Mn Battery : Approx. 45 hours
Alkaline Battery : Approx. 90 hours

Battery using time can change according to battery using period or loadcell number.

TEST MODE
How to enter test mode
1. Open the top cover of indicator and power on with pressing CAL switch in the left top.
At that time, LCD screen shows “ZEro = tESt, tArE = CAL” message and pressing
‘Zero’ key moves to tESt 1.
2. Press G/N key for approx 3 seconds.

Load Cell test method


Power off before testing the load cell output voltage and check that the
load cell output voltage (SIG+, SIG-) is same as the specified output
voltage with ON/OFF key in the front panel pressed.
CALIBRATION MODE
How to enter calibration mode
.

Open the top cover of indicator and power on with pressing CAL switch in the left top.
At that time, LCD screen shows " ZEro = tESt, tArE = CAL " message and pressing
' Tare ' key moves into CAL 1.

■ Increase the first place value by 1.

Reference 1. The span weight should be within the 10 % to 100 % of maximum capacity.
The initial span weight is 100% of max. capacity but if the current span
weight is different from it, input the desired weight again.
Reference 2. The span weight should be above 10% of the maximum capacity.
If not so, an error message (Err 23) is shown
Reference 3. Never install the span weight higher than maximum capacity because an
" Err 22 " is shown.
CAL 4
FUNCTION : Zero Calibration

SEALING & OPTIONAL DRAWING
Perform the sealing as shown in the below figure after the
calibration is completed.
■ Open the top cover.
■ Cover CAL switch in the left top of cover with sealing plate and screw2 sealing bolt.
■ Connect the sealing wire as follows and compress the sealing lead.

ERROR MESSAGE DESCRIPTION & MANAGEMENT
Errors in Weighing Mode
Err 01
■ Cause
The Indicator can't be initialized due to platform shaking.
■ Management
Put the platform on a flat place without shaking and power on.

Err 02
■ Cause
The load cell is connected wrongly or A/D conversion part has a fault.
■ Management
Check that the load cell is well connected with main unit.

Err 03
■ Cause
The calibration isn't executed or the data of internal memory is lost due to
a electrical shock.
■ Management
Perform the required specification again in setting mode.

Err 09 (Zero Key)


■ Cause
The current weight exceeds zero range.

Err 10
■ Cause
The specified TARE weight exceeds the maximum capacity.
■ Management
Set the TARE weight lower than maximum capacity.
Or set the maximum capacity higher than the desired TARE weight in
calibration menu and perform the calibration again.
Err 13 (Zero Range with power on)
■ Cause
The initial zero range exceeds above 10% of maximum capacity.
■ Management
Check the load cell state.

Over
■ Cause
Too heavy object is put on platform so that it may exceed the maximum capacity.
■ Management
Never put the weight exceeding the maximum capacity.
If the load cell is damaged, replace the load cell.

Errors in Weighing Mode


Err 22
■ Cause
The span weight is over maximum capacity.
■ Management
Set the span weight less than maximum capacity.

Err 23
■ Cause
Setting weight is set under 10 % of the Maximum Capacity.
■ Management
Set span setting weight equal to or over 10 % of the Maximum Capacity
in CAL 3 of CAL Menu.

Err 24
■ Cause
The resolution is set too high in comparison with load cell output.
■ Management
Set the minimum division in CAL 2 high.
Err 25
■ Cause
The resolution is more than 1/10,000.
■ Management
Set the minimum division in CAL 2 high

Errors in Count Mode


Err 61
■ Cause
The count unit weight and sample weight are set too high.
■ Management
Set the count unit weight low or the count sample quantity high.

Err 62
■ Cause
The count unit weight and sample weight are set too low.
■ Management
Set the count unit weight high or the count sample quantity low.
