Lesson Plan in Science and Health

Grade 1

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the pupils should be able to:
A. Describe the different senses
B. Appreciate the importance of the five senses of the body
C. Give the function of the different five senses of the body.

II. Subject Matter


Topic: Five Senses
Reference: Science for Daily Use 2
Materials: cut outs pictures, cartolina, box, candy and PowerPoint presentation

III. Procedure
A. Opening activities

a. Prayer
Let us start our day with a prayer. “Dear God,
Thank you for giving us wonderful creations.
Thank you God for making us special. Help us to
learn and love and make things. In Jesus name,
we pray. Amen.
b. Greetings
“Good Morning Class” Good Morning Teacher!Good Morning classmates.
You may take your seat. It’s nice too see you again.
c. Checking of Attendance
Leader in each row,kindly check your Leaders will list the names of absents and give it to
members if there’s anyone who is absent today. the teacher.

d. Review

Class do you still remember our lesson yesterday?

human body. I would like you to identify the body
parts, match the word that corresponds to the part
