Roller Coaster Quest

Introduction

Zero to 128 in three seconds flat?! No sports car can do that! But the
world's scariest roller coasters can do this and even more. Let's use
math to discover which roller coaster is the fastest, scariest, and most
fun!

Almost everyone knows how roller coasters work: you are pulled up to
the top and then let go for a free fall on tracks with crazy twists and
turns. How scary the coaster depends upon the individual, but speed
and acceleration are mathematical measures that are of the greatest
influence.

Task
(what you need to do)
Your task is to determine the roller coaster with the greatest speed,
height, length, and drop.

Process
(steps to follow)
Step 1: Learn all about "scream machines" at http://

Step 2: Make a chart to record data about at least 10 different
rollercoasters.
It should look something like this:
Name of Height Length Speed Drop
Rollercoaster

Step 3: Fill in the chart as you research each rollercoaster.

Step 4: Find the mean, median, mode, and range of each of the table
sections: length, height, drop, and speed of all the rollercoasters.

Step 5: Create a graph comparing 1-2 aspects of the roller coasters.

Step 6: Build your own Super Coaster
