Call for applications for the engagement of Apprentices at NITTTR, Bhopal


NITTTR, Bhopal invites online Applications for the engagement of Graduate/Technician
Apprentices from Graduates in various branches of Engineering/General streams and diploma
holders in Engineering/Technology for the period of one year. We offer a rewarding opportunity
to kick- start your career and gain practical experience in a renowned institution.

Number of Vacancies: The Quota allocation is of Eighteen (18) seats for the financial year 2024-
25.

Stipend: The selected candidates will receive stipend Graduate Rs. 9000/- Per month/Diploma Rs.
8000/- per month (50% stipend burden i.e. Rs. 4500/- for Graduate and Rs. 4000/- for diploma
holders is take by Govt. of India and 50% by Establishment (NITTTR, Bhopal).
Eligibility:
1) For Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering/Technology/General streams
(B.E./B.Tech. /B. A/ B.Sc./ B. Com/BBA/BCA).
2) For Technical Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering/Technology from board of Technical
Education of a State.

Eligibility Conditions:

 The Training will be governed by Apprentices rule under section 8 of the Apprentices
Act,1961 (Amended in 1973, 2014, & 2019).
 Candidates perusing under Graduate/ Post Graduate programme during the session 2024-
25 is not eligible.
 Candidates under 14 years of age are not eligible for the Apprentice Training.
 Candidates who have already completed their Apprentice training are not eligible for the
Apprentice Training.
 All Graduates from any university/ College in India such as B.E., B. Tech., BCA, BBA,
B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., etc. and Diploma holders (Date of Joining of training at
establishment, 5 years from the date of passing of qualification)
 Candidates having Post Graduate qualification is not eligible.
 Candidates having one year are more experience is not eligible.
 Personal canvassing in any manner will lead to disqualification.
Discipline-wise no. of Apprentice to be engaged in 2024-25 is given below:

 This number is tentative for the Engineering stream and General stream Graduates, but the
stream may vary as per the institute's need.

Selection Criteria:
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in their qualifying degree/diploma. The
shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
The final selection will be form shortlisted candidates which based on the merit of their qualifying
degree/diploma (80% weightage) and the interview (20% weightage).
Reservation: Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and PWDs shall be as
per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and the amendments from time to time.

Documents Required:

 Aadhaar Card

 Degree/Diploma marks sheets

 Degree/Diploma Certificate

 Proof of Date of Birth (Metric Certificate or any other proof)

 Proof of Bank Account in the name of Applicant (A canceled bank cheque) and Linked to the
Aadhaar.

 The candidates are required to bring the original documents at the time of interview (High
School, Higher Secondary, Degree/Diploma Certificate, Aadhar Card, Bank Account
details, Photograph and Community Certificate (if applicable).

Terms and Conditions:

The Institute reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of apprentice positions
without assigning any reasons.

Relevant information by the candidates must be uploaded on the Institute website along with
their application.
. No TA, DA, Boarding, and lodging facility will be provided by this institute for interview.
Termination of Contract: The Contract of Apprentiship Training of Apprentice can be
terminated as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, (Amended in 1973, 2014, & 2019).

Proficiency Certificate: On the basis of the training completion report generated online the Board
of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region), Mumbai, will issue a proficiency Certificate to the
Apprentice who successfully completes one year of Apprenticeship Training. The candidates who
successfully completed the 05 Modules curriculum and register for assessment and quality in
assessment will be awarded credits at appropriate level in National Higher Educational credit
Framework.
