SALIENT FEATURES OF THE PROJECT ROAD

The Road will benefit in,

1. Channelization of the traffic movement from the existing heavily congested city
roads.
2. Avoiding the repetitive crossing of railway line, to make project more economical
by reducing the number of proposed ROBs.
3. Providing By-pass to avoid the city traffic and save travelling time by increasing
the driving speed.
4. Curve Improvements to provide smooth driving experience.
5. Submersible bridges will be replaced by High Level Bridges, resulting in an
improvement of the water way and the free movement of traffic in the rainy
season.
6. Improved road network will result in growth in tourism and industrial
development of Mandla and Balaghat cities.
7. Moving away from existing railway ROW .
