Indicator Definition

It is typically expressed as the number of new and relapse TB


cases notified per 100,000 population.
TB case notification rate, all forms

Diagnosed TB enrolled cases.

Refers to successfully treated cases and completed the


recommended treatment either with combination of antibiotics
and no longer infected with the bacteria.
TB Treated Success Rate, all forms Not completed their treatment or have not been assessed for
their treatment progress or may not have received the necessary
medical follow up to determine the outcome of their TB
treatment.
