CLASS – X (2024-25)

LIST OF QUESTIONS TO BE DONE IN PRACTICAL FILE


ALL THE QUESTIONS OF TERM 1 & TERM II SHOULD BE DONE IN THE SAME FILE
TERM-I
A. Do the questions and put the sheets in a transparent white Plastic tagged File
with a printed cover page having School Name, School Logo, Student Name,
Class, and Subject Name.
1. Write 10 pages from your Science book in a documents. Divide the pages into five
chapters, say, first two pages of chapter – 1, next two pages of chapter – 2, and one
page of chapter – 3 and so on. Now perform the following operation:
i. Apply Different character and paragraph styles on the text in all the three
chapters.
ii. Insert appropriate picture related to the chapter.
iii. Chapter should include table containing relevant details.
iv. Insert Header as “SCIENCE” and Footer as “page no.”
v. Apply different heading levels on the headings.
vi. Create a table of contents for all the three chapters.
2. Prepare a birthday invitation using Mail Merge feature of OpenOffice Writer.
3. Create a Worksheet with following heading and data.

Calculate the following using appropriate functions:


i. Total marks obtained by each student.
ii. Maximum Marks obtained in maths.

iii. Average marks scored in history.
iv. Insert current date and time in A7 cell.
v. Save the workbook by name ‘Report Card’.
4. Create a Presentation on Communication Skill.
5. Design a Poster on barriers of effective communication.
6. Create a presentation on Self - Management Skills.
7. Prepare worksheet as given below and do as directed:

 Create a new file in spreadsheet software and enter data for 10 salesmen
consisting following fields (ID, Name, Profit).
 Add two worksheets in the file and modify the data for 3 years.
 Rename all worksheets like sheet1 – 2021, sheet2 – 2022 and sheet3 – 2023.
 Add one more worksheet at the end and rename as consolidated sheet.
 Type the serial no and names as displayed, use sum function to add data for
2021, 2022 and 2023 in respective cells using consolidation.

B. Do the following Question on A4 coloured pastel sheet with relavant pictures and
creativity.
1. Write the steps for Record Macros in Open Office Calc.
2. Explain all the tools of What-if analysis and their benefits.

TERM-II

A. Do the following Questions and put the printouts of the sheets in the file.

1. Create a “Examination” Database and do the following:

 Create a table STUDENT in Design view with the following details.

 Create a table STREAM with the following details:

 Create a new relation between the table STUDENT and STREAM named
STUDENT_STREAM_RELATION.
 Create a form - STUDENT ENTRY FORM, to insert record in STUDENT table.

B. Do the following Question on A4 coloured pastel sheet


1. Explain the following term in respect to Database.

 Data Integrity
 Data Security
 RDBMS
 Candidate Key
 Primary Key
 Foreign Key
 Query
 Form
