The report details an experiment measuring glucose concentration over time using a spectrophotometer to assess absorbance at 540 nm. Nine samples were taken at five-minute intervals for 40 minutes, with absorbance values recorded and averaged. The data was analyzed using the Beer-Lambert law to create a calibration curve for glucose concentration over time.

CONCENTRATION AT DIFFERENT TIME POINTS
By using the spectophotometer, we were able the measure the absorbance at 540 nm of different samples, each taken at different time (every 5 minutes for 40 minutes) which accounts to 9 samples including that taken at the beginning of the experiment. The measuremants made by the machine can be witnessed in the following chart.
Absorbance Absorbance Average corrected
(experiment1) (experiment2) Absorbance
0.128 0.124 0.012
0.663 0.633 0.534
0.792 0.798 0.681
0.888 0.86 0.76
0.927 0.926 0.8125
0.991 1.033 0.898
1.032 1.014 0.909
By applying the equation of Beer-Lambert, we get to plot absorbance versus
glucose concentration, and get the following diagram :
1 Now we use the following calbration curve to obtain the concentration
