1.1 Temperature Parameters
Indoor preset temperature (Tpreset)
Indoor ambient temperature (Tamb.)
1.2 Basic Functions
Once energized, the compressor should in no way be restarted unless after 3-minute time interval at least. For the first
energization, the compressor will be started without 3-minute lag. Under the same mode, the compressor, once started,
will not be stopped within 5 minutes with the change of room temperature.
1.2.1 Cooling Mode
1.2.1.1 Cooling Conditions and Process
When T amb.≥Tpreset +1℃, the unit will run under cooling mode, in which case the compressor and outdoor fan will start
and the indoor fan will run at preset speed.
When T amb.≤Tpreset -1℃, the unit will be stopped, in which the compressor will be firstly stopped, the outdoor fan will be
stopped after 15-second lag and the indoor fan will run at preset speed.
When Tpreset -1℃<T amb.< Tpreset +1℃, the unit will maintain its original operating status.
Under this mode, the switchover valve will be de-energized and the temperature can be set within a range from 16 to
30℃.

1.2.1.2 Protection
Antifreeze Protection
If it is detected that the system is under antifreeze protection, the compressor and outdoor fan will be stopped after
15-second lag, and the indoor fan will run at low speed. When antifreeze protection is released and the compressor has
stopped for 3 minutes, the complete unit will resume its original operating status.

If it is detected within 3 seconds successively that the system amperage exceeds the specified value (13A), the main unit
will enter into the status as such that only fan is running. After 3 minutes and the fault is eliminated, the complete unit will
resume its original operating status.
1.2.2 Dehumidifying Mode
1.2.2.1 Dehumidifying Conditions and Process
When T amb.> Tpreset +2℃, the unit will run under cooling mode, in which case the indoor fan will run at variable speed.
Queen Series
When Tpreset -2℃≤T amb.≤Tpreset +2℃, the unit will run under dehumidifying mode, in which case the indoor fan will run at
low speed. After the compressor and outdoor fan has run 6 minutes, the compressor will be stopped, the outdoor fan will
be stopped after 15-second lag and the indoor fan will be stopped after 30 seconds. After 3.5 minutes, the compressor
and outdoor fan will be started, and the indoor fan will run at low speed. The dehumidifying process is so repeated in
cycle.
When Tamb.< Tpreset-2℃, the compressor, outdoor fan and indoor fan will be stopped.
Under this mode, the switchover valve will be de-energized and the temperature can be set from 16 to 30℃.

1.2.2.2 Protection Run Stop


Antifreeze Protection
If it is detected that the system is under antifreeze protection, the compressor and outdoor fan will be stopped after
15-second lag, and the indoor fan will run at low speed. When antifreeze protection is released and the compressor has
stopped for 3 minutes, the complete unit will resume its original operating status.

Upon meeting the cooling condition, the overload is same as under cooling. Under dehumidify mode, the indoor fan
will be stopped.
1.2.3 Heating Mode
1.2.3.1 Heating Condition and Process
When T amb.≤Tpreset +2℃, the unit will run under heating mode, in which case the switchover valve, compressor and
outdoor fan will be simultaneously started, and the indoor fan will be started after 3 minutes the latest. If the air-outlet
temperature is not high, the indoor fan will automatically adjust its speed.
If T amb.≥Tpreset +4℃, the compressor will be stopped, the outdoor fan will be stopped after 15 seconds, the switchover
valve will remain energized and the indoor fan will be stopped after blowing at low speed for 60 seconds.
When Tpreset +2℃<T amb.< Tpreset +4℃, the unit will maintain its original operating status.
Under this mode, the switchover is energized and the temperature can be set within a range from 16 to 30℃.

1.2.3.2 Defrosting Conditions and Process


When the condenser is detected to have frost, the system will enter into defrosting status, in which case the compressor
will continue to run, the indoor fan and switchover valve will be stopped simultaneously, and the outdoor fan will be
stopped after 15 seconds.
RUN indicator will blink. Upon detecting the frost in condenser is removed, the outdoor fan and switchover valve will be
energized, the indoor fan will be started after 2 minutes the latest, the compressor will keep running, and the run indicator
will stop blinking.
The first defrost after energization will last 10 minutes. Later, the defrost time can be adjusted according to the
quantity of frost. Defrost takes longer if more frost (Max. 12 minutes) and takes shorter if less frost (Min. 3 minutes).
The system will exit defrost mode upon completion of defrosting.
During the defrosting operation

1.2.3.3 Protection
High Temp. Protection
If it is detected that the evaporator tube temperature is too high, the outdoor fan will be stopped. When the tube
temperature resumes to normal, the outdoor fan will be restarted.
Noise Silencing Protection
If the unit is stopped by pressing ON/OFF, the switchover valve will be stopped after 2-minute lag; or 2 minutes will be
delayed upon mode switching.
Overcurrent Protection
If it is detected within 3 minutes successively that the system amperage exceeds the specified value (approx. 13A), the
compressor will be stopped, the outdoor fan will be stopped after 15 seconds and the indoor fan will be stopped after
blowing 60 seconds. After 3 minutes and the fault is eliminated, the complete unit will resume its original operating status
and the indoor fan will be started after 3 minutes the latest.
1.2.4 Fan mode
Under FAN mode, only the indoor fan runs at preset speed.
1.2.5 Auto Mode
Under this mode, the system will automatically select its run mode (cool, dehumidify, heat or fan) with the change of
ambient temperature. For protection function, same as under cooling and heating mode.
1.3 Other Control
1.3.1 Sleep Function
1. If sleep function is set under cooling or dehumidifying mode, the preset temperature will automatically rise by 1℃ one
hour after remote control and by another 1℃ after 2 hours.

3. Preset temperature for auto mode sleep function will remain unchanged.
1.3.2 Swing Motor Control
1. Upon energization, the stepping motor will rotate to position “0” – air outlet.
2. After the unit is started, if swing function is not set,up & down guide lover
will be in level position with air out.
3. If set swing function after the unit is started,the guide louver will swing
between L and D.
4. The guide louver will close when the unit stops.It will stop at present
position if indoor fan stops running,which will resume as indoor fan.
1.3.3 Buzzer
When the controller is energized or receives remote control signal, the buzzer will give out a beep.
1.3.4 Indicator
RUN Indicator (Red): Bright upon start of the unit, black upon stop of the unit and blink during defrost.
TIMER Indicator (Yellow): Bright when timer is activated; otherwise, it is black.
1.3.5 Automatic Control of Fan Speed
Under this mode, the indoor fan will automatically select high, medium or low speed with the change ambient temperature.
1.3.6 Auto Key
If press this key,the unit will run in Auto mode.Indoor fan will run at auto speed as well as the swing fan runs.Press this
key agian ,the unit will stop.

Disassemble Water Tray


To remove the water tray, use your hands to open the four
clamps on water tray and the terminals connected to the
electric box. Lift up the water tray and unplug the swing
motor cables.

Remove the grounding wire of the evaporator.
Remove the tube sensor.
Unplug the plugging connector of the indoor motor and
swing motor at the electric box, use screwdriver to unscrew

Follow the direction shown by the arrow, and manually pull

To remove the water tray, use your hands to open the four
clamps on water tray and the terminals connected to the
electric box. Lift up the water tray and unplug the swing
motor cables.

Installation Instructions
1 Selection of Installation Position

① Indoor Unit
The air inlet and air outlet must be far away from obstacles to ensure that airflow can reach every corner of the room;
The selected installation position shall facilitate the draining of condensate water. Choose a position where the
outdoor unit can be easily connected
Choose a place far away from heat source,steam and inflammable gases; Avoid direct sunshine.
The installation position shall be able to withstand the weight and vibration of the indoor unit.
Ensure the installation of indoor unit is in conformity with the requirements of installation dimension drawing.
Leave enough space for routine maintenance and the installation height shall be at least 200cm above the floor.
Choose a position at least 1 meter from any TV, sound system or other household electric appliances。
A position where the air filter can be easily pulled out

② Outdoor Unit
A place where noise and hot airflow generated by the unit do not affect the neighbors;
Choose a place with good ventilation to ensure good ventilation of outdoor unit;
No obstacles are near the outdoor unit obstructing the air intake and air exhaust of the unit.
The installation position shall be able to withstand the weight and vibration of the outdoor unit and ensure safe
installation;
A place without the leakage of any flammable gases or corrosive gases;
Ensure the installation of indoor unit is in conformity with the requirements of installation dimension drawing.

Installation at the following places may cause failure of the air-conditioning unit. Please contact Sinclair installation
and service agency if the installation at such places cannot be avoided.
A place full of machine oil;
A region with saline-sodic soil near the sea;
A place with sulphide gases (such as sulphur spring);
A place with high frequency facilities, such as radio equipment, electric welder or medical equipment;
An environment with special conditions.

2 Installing Indoor Unit

① Installing Wall-Mounting Frame


● Adopt the line-hanging method to decide the
horizontal position. As the drainage pipe outlet
is at the left, the left side of the wall-mounting
frame shall be slightly lower.
● Use screws to secure the wall-mounting
frame on the wall.
● After installation is completed, manually
pull the wall-mounting frame to check if it is

③ Installing Drainage Pipe

allow smooth running of water.
● Pay attention not to allow twists, ridges and

④ Installing Connecting Pipe


Connect the connecting pipe with the two education pipes of the indoor unit correspondingly. Tighten the joint nut of the
connecting pipe (refer to the following part of” Installing Connecting Pipe”).

Caution :
Connect the connecting pipe to the indoor unit first and then connect it to the outdoor unit.
Pay attention to the bending and layout when preparing the connecting pipe in order not to harm it.
Do not screw the joint nut too tightly, otherwise leakage will be caused.
⑤ Electrical Cable Connection

● Pull open the front panel from the above.


● Disassemble the cover plate of electric box and twist off the wire-pressed clamp (refer to Figure 9-4).
● Pull the power connection cable upward through the cable-cross holes in the base plate and the bottom of the electric
box;
● Connect the blue wire of the power connection cables to the “N(1)”terminal of the terminal board, connect the
brown wire to the “2”terminal, and connect the red wire to the“3”terminal and connect the yellow-green wire to th
“ ”terminal (refer to Figure 9-4)
● For heat pump type unit, connect a signal connection cable with the indoor unit through a connector (refer to Figure
9-4), and use wire clamp to fix the signal connection cable on the rear case.
● Install the wire-pressed clamp back into position and tighten the screw to ensure the wire-pressed clamp presses
tightly the power connection cable; Install the cover plate of the electric box back and fix it with screws.
● Install the front panel back into position

Caution :
All the electrical installation must be carried out by professional technicians in conformity with the local laws, regulations
and this instructions manual.
The power supply must be of rated voltage of the unit and special electrical line for air-conditioning.
It is required to install a leakage protection switch and an air switch with sufficient capacity. (the capacity of air switch is
20A).
The diameter of flexible power cable must be large enough; damaged flexible power cable and connection cable must be
replaced by cables of such special purpose.
The socket must have reliable grounding. It is prohibited to connect the grounding wire to the gas pipeline, the water
supply pipeline, the grounding wire of lightning rod or the grounding wire of telephone line.
Carry out installation in accordance with the state line layout rules.

⑥ Installing Indoor Unit

When laying the pipe (line) at the left or right side, cut as needed the extra part of the fitting pipe left at the tube-exit
plate of the unit base. (refer to Figure 9-5)
① When only drawing out the power line, pull the power line through the cross hole;
② When drawing out the connecting pipe and the electrical line, pull them through the cross hole;
Wrap the fitting pipe and the cable (refer to Figure 9-6) and pull them through the fitting pipe hole.
Hung the claws at the rear side of the indoor unit to the hook on the wall-mounting frame. Move the unit left and right
to see if it is steady.
The installation height of the indoor unit must be at least 2.0m.
Take 2 pieces of purifiers from the accessory bag and mount them onto the unit.

5 Test Run and Check Items after Installation

● Open the shutoff valves of the big and small pipes.
● Remove the foreign articles, especially meter scraps and cable ends, from the unit body.
● Open the front panel and set the manual switch as “Operation” mode.
