SCENE 1

INT. - HOUSE – MORNING

BACKGROUND MUSIC FADES IN

Lizza, Lizzy and Marlo wake up at the same time. Marlo sitting on the bed
fixing his hair. Lizzy deep sighing while laying down. Lizza staring outside her
window. Three of them goes downstairs to the dining room and sit and eats
breakfast together with their mom.

WHITE NOISE

After eating breakfast Lizzy and Marlo are watching television together. Marlo
is brushing his hair slowly while watching television. While Lizza and her
mom are spending their time together planting snake plants.

MOM
(happy)
I’m so glad you helped me planting these snake plants your dad brought last
night.

LIZZA
(pleased)
Oh, this is all nothing mom, I love helping you even in small things like this.

Lizza smiles with gladness then continues planting snake plants with her
mom.

 SCENE 2.1

INT. – HOUSE – THE NEXT MORNING

CHICKENS’ CLUCKLING

Lizza, Lizzy and Marlo are rushing and preparing their stuffs for school. Three
of them are heading out for school together but suddenly their mom calls
Lizza and lends her extra lunch money.

MOM
Lizza wait a second, here’s your extra lunch money. If you need something in
school use this money, ok?

LIZZY
(irritated)
Ugh, let’s go Marlo we’re going to be late for school.

MARLO
(worried)
Oh alright… Bye mom, we’ll head out first now.

Lizzy gets irritated and head out first with Marlo. Marlo waves at his mom
then follows Lizzy out of the house.

LIZZA
(thankful)
Thank you so much for this mom and will do but I also need to go now too or
else I’m going to be late for school.
 MOM
Alright, take care of yourself. Goodbye.

Lizza kisses her mom on the cheek and says their farewells to each other
then Lizza heads out too.

SCENE 2.2

EXT. – SCHOOL – NOON

BACKGROUND MUSIC FADES IN

SCHOOL BELL

Lizza finishes her English class and goes outside the classroom then she sees
her sister Lizzy going downstairs of the school building.

LIZZA
(wondering)

Huh that’s Lizzy right… At this time around her next class is Math which is on
the third floor but why is she going downstairs? I should probably follow her.

Lizza follows her sister around the school then she sees her with other
students smoking inside the school and heard their conversation.

AMARA
(displeased)
Took you long enough.
 ZAHIRO
(irritated)
Why are you so late? We’re going to miss the movies because of you.

LIZZY
(annoyed)
I’m sorry guys, my science teacher told us that the lesson we were just
tackling a while ago was very important, so he had to extend our class.

SEVEN
Seriously? What a bothersome.

LIZZY
Whatever can you guys lend me a cigarette and let’s go now before we get
caught by the teachers.

MARGARETTE
Fine let’s go.

After Lizza heard their conversation, she goes back to her class quietly and
Lizzy and her friends goes out secretly then they pass by Lizzy’s younger
brother Marlo, sitting on a bench with Austin.

ZAHIRO
(wondering)
Huh isn’t that your younger brother…? And he’s with Austin?

LIZZY
 (confused)
Huh what are you talking about?

Marlo and Austin start being clingy with each other.

SEVEN
(shocked)
Oh my gosh why are they clinging with each other like that? Are they like
partners or something?

AMARA
(wondering)
Lizzy your brother is gay…?

Marlo and Austin say their farewells to each other, then Marlo goes back to
his class, but he gets block by Lizzy’s friends.

MARGARETTE
Hey Marlo, what were you doing there with Austin huh?

REI
You’re gay right? We saw you with Austin being lovey-dovey with each other
earlier.

ZAHIRO
(disgusted)
People like you are so disgusting. How on earth did you end up being sibling
with Lizzy, it must be embarrassing for her. Show some shame will you!
Marlo gets scared as they rudely talk to him then he nervously looks at Lizzy.

MARLO
(scared)
Lizzy, please help me…

They start pushing and making fun of him while Lizzy ignores her brother as
he gets bully in front of his sister.

SCENE 3

INT. – HOUSE - EVENING

CRICKET NOISE

Lizzy goes back to home late; she opens the door slowly and quietly then her
mom furiously bangs her hand on the table and goes near to Lizzy.

BACKGROUND MUSIC STARTS

MOM
(angry)
Why did you come back so late!? Where were you? You should’ve come back
2 hours ago but you didn’t, what were you doing at a time like this!?

Lizzy’s hands started shaking a lot out of nervous then her dad came back
from work.
 DAD
(wondering)
Huh what’s happening here?

Then Lizza and Marlo suddenly goes to the living room where Lizzy and her
mom and her dad are.

LIZZA
(nervous)
Mom, I have something to say and it’s about Lizzy… Back where we were at
school earlier, I caught her skipping classes with her friends but not only
that, but she also smokes with those friends of her.

MOM
(shocked)
What!? Did I just hear that right Lizzy? You, young lady, you must have lost
your mind! Doing such a reckless thing, you should be like your sister a
responsible and –

LIZZY
(annoyed)
Again! Again, with this nonsense, you keep comparing me to my twin sister
which is I’m nothing like her from your expectations. I’m sick of hearing this
every time from you. You can’t even give me the chance to explain myself or
even listen to me but you’re here comparing me again to her!

DAD
Hey! Stop that Lizzy, listen to your mother.

Lizzy looks at her dad furiously then ignores his words.

 LIZZY
And do you even know your own son’s current situation? Your son is gay.
That’s right nothing but a gay who would get easily hated and discriminated
by the whole world and he’s having an affair with a man and you’re just here
only paying attention to every word our sisters about us. You can’t even pay
attention to all of us except for Lizza.
DAD
Is this all-true Marlo…?

Marlo nervously avoids eye contacting with his dad.

After Lizzy scolds her mom, it leads to a big argument and hurt feelings
inside the household at that night. Both Lizzy and her mom continuously
fights while their dad try to stop them, Marlo starts covering his ears
because of how overwhelmed he is and Lizza try to comfort him.

SCENE 4

INT. – HOUSE – EVENING

After the family fight ended, Dad gives Mom a glass of water and sits beside
her.

MOM
(frustrated)
Sigh… Maybe I overdid it, Pablo. Am I really that dense that I even end up
hurting my children’s feeling and talked like that in front of them… How
shameful of myself. I was very worked up pouring all of my attention and
love to Lizza only because she was the most successful and has a lot of
confidence out of all of them so I thought maybe she will be our only chance
 to have better future not only for herself but for her siblings too, I became
too selfish. They have all the rights to get angry at me after all I did to them.

Dad puts his hand over mom’s shoulders as he cares her gently while
listening to her.

DAD
(comforting)
Don’t say that sweetie, I’m sure they’ll forgive you and I know our children
loves you. Once you talk to them properly and give it some time everything
will go back to normal. I know it won’t be easy from the start but as you
continue it, it will make some good progress by starting initiating first. Do the
first move, learn from your mistakes as they learn their mistakes too. Don’t
give up yet, there’s always hope when it comes to this kind of situations.

Mom holds dad’s hands.

MOM
(glad)
Thank you so much for being always on my side sweetie. I’m really thankful
Pablo, I love you so much.

Dad holds mom’s hands too.

DAD
I love you so much too honey.

After the couples talked, mom starts talking to the children one by one.
Listens to their problems, accepts their mistakes and apologizing to each
other. They hug each other as they cry together.
 SCENE 5

EXT. – SCHOOL – THE NEXT MORNING

Marlo passes by Lizzy’s friends and blocks him.

ZAHIRO
Hey brat! Why are you wondering here alone? Where’s your beloved
boyfriend huh?

REI
Did he left you because he got disgusted by you?

The group of bullies laughs together then suddenly Lizzy comes and starts
defending his younger brother.

LIZZY
Hey backoff! Stop bullying and annoying him will you!

REI
What’s this? Playing as the hero now? Don’t make us laugh Lizzy.

LIZZY
First of all, stop bullying and making fun of my brother. Then what if he’s
gay? That doesn’t affect you all, let him be who he is. Be more mature and
self-disciplined, you guys are not kids anymore to make fun of someone else
just because he’s different from the others. Learn from all of your actions and
soon you’ll realize the right thing to do.
Amara and Margarette goes beside Lizzy.

MARGARETTE
Lizzy is right guys. We should stop and listen to her words.

AMARA
The truth is… Me and Margarette once a victim from bullying, we were forced
by those bullies to be like them because we got black mailed so we can’t do
anything else aside following want they want.

MARGARETTE
We became too selfish, and we only paid attention to our own safetiness and
end up doing the wrong thing.

AMARA
Hearing Lizzy’s words made us realize that our actions were all wrong. Marlo
doesn’t deserve getting treated like this, we need to treat ourself kindly but
not only to ourselves but even to the people in our surrounding.

Lizzy gets proud to Amara and Margarette and the bullies starts looking at
each other and realize their mistakes and apologizes to Marlo and Lizzy.
After that Lizzy and her friends has a proper conversation as they understand
each other and convey their own feelings.
After some time, Marlo and Austin are sitting and holding each other’s hands
on a bench together again peacefully.
Lizza and Lizzy has their sister bonding time, helping each other out with
school stuffs then Marlo comes and joins them. They smile, laugh and has a
great time having a sibling bond together once again.
