SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

i. Inspect all equipment for visible damage (e.g., exposed wires,

broken insulation) and ensure secure electrical connections.
ii. Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, including
emergency shut-off switches, circuit breakers, and fire
extinguishers (Class C for electrical fires).
iii. Be trained in CPR and electrical shock response.
iv. Avoid overloading circuits and use fuses and circuit breakers as
specified.
v. Use only one hand when working with live electrical circuits to
minimize shock risk.
vi. Turn off power before making adjustments, connecting, or
disconnecting equipment.
vii. Ensure all equipment is properly grounded.
viii. Never work with electrical equipment on wet surfaces or with wet
hands.
ix. Label electrical equipment and circuits clearly.
x. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents.
xi. Use insulated tools when working with electrical components.
xii. Follow manufacturer's instructions for all equipment.
xiii. Exercise caution around high-voltage areas and exposed high-
voltage terminals.
