Abstract

Appears immediately after the title page unless otherwise (in case it is needed by the

course instructor). It should be flushed to the left (written in block, no indent needed).

Should be on its own page.

More information: This is a sample abstract. It is a general summary of what this paper

says. Sometimes it is best to write the abstract after completing the paper. The abstract

does not exceed 250 words. The abstract is on its own page, before the paper starts on

the next and after the title page. The abstract page does not count towards the page

count that you need to produce for the body of the paper. As you have probably already

seen in doing your research, abstracts are quick reads that tell you whether or not you

want to read the entire paper/if you have found what you are looking for. Do not

include citations in this paragraph.
