Observations:-
1. At the time of visit, APFC panel was in Auto mode, but all steps were switched OFF and APFC
relay was not showing any display.
2. Control circuit MCB was in tripped condition.
3. Contactor of step no. 1 was found burnt.
4. 100A fuses used for 25KVAR steps. (63A required as per standard)
5. In step on. 10, capacitor was removed, according to customer it was burnt.
6. PF of APFC relay not matching with PF of multifunction meter at Main Incomer Panel.
7. Control circuit MCB is tripping frequently due to burnt contactors and wiring.
8. One Auxiliary contactor is making noise.

Recommendations:-
1. To achieve unity PF, replacement of faulty contactors, capacitors & controller is
recommended.
