Technical fundamentals of football:

The Pass: The pass in football allows your

team to maintain possession of the ball and find
holes in the opposing team's defense. It's Tiki
Taka's style of play. This is what Barcelona
does 70% of the game sometimes, just keep
the ball from the opponent's team

Reception: This is the technical action by

which the player acquires possession of the
ball, leaving it in condition for the next
technical-tactical action.

Dribbling/Dribbling: Dribbling is a
term used in basketball or soccer. Dribbling,
dribbling, or dribbling is the ability that every
soccer player has to leave his opponent
behind with a quick and agile action while
maintaining control and possession of the
ball.

Ball control: The body must be in

line with the ball, the feet must be firmly
supported on the ground, when the ball
arrives, the chest must be slightly pushed
out in the direction of the ball. It is used to
cushion, deflect, pass, anticipate. It must
be positioned in line with the ball, and the
forehead is used for control.
Ball handling: Handling is conceived as
the technical action that consists of
transporting the ball from one area of the
field to another using different parts of
the foot, making successive touches and
maintaining control over the ball.

Ball control: Ball control is the technique

through which a footballer manages to control the ball
in order to direct it where he wants.

The shot: The shot is an individual

technique used in football, which
consists of hitting the ball towards the
rival goal and this gesture can be
performed by the player in or without
running, and with any part of the foot
within the game.

The serve: Each point begins with a

serve of the ball from behind the
baseline. The ball is thrown into the air
and hit towards the opposing field,
looking for weak points in the opponent's
defense. It can be done standing or
jumping.
Marking: These are the actions that a
team's players perform towards their
opponents without possession of the ball.
Players are aware of what the opponent is
doing, how they are going to act or what
actions the opponent is going to take in
attack.

Football regulations (FIFA)

The field (measurements)

fields with measurements:
The playing field will be rectangular and
marked with continuous lines that do not
represent any danger. Artificial material
may be used to mark natural areas if this
does not pose a danger. These lines will
integrate the areas they demarcate.

The game ball: Although the soccer

ball is called “spherical”, the most common
soccer balls are truncated icosahedrons
with 12 pentagons and 20 regular
hexagons. The faces are not completely flat
but slightly curved. FIFA defines three
different quality levels for soccer balls: FIFA
approved.
Number of players: The match will be played by two teams
made up of a maximum of 11 players each, of which one
will play as goalkeeper.

Allowed football equipment: For safety

reasons, players may not wear items that
could be dangerous to themselves or others,
such as bracelets, necklaces, etc. All types
of jewelry are prohibited during a game,
even if they are covered with some type of
adhesive tape. Clothing must not have blood
stains. Certain head protectors, knee
protectors, or soft lenses are permitted
because they are not considered dangerous.

The main referee: The main referee is the

highest authority in the game. The referee is the
one who will have the total authority to enforce
the rules of the game in the match for which he
has been appointed. All decisions of the referee
are final. Only he can modify a decision, provided
that he has not resumed play or the match has
ended.

The assistant referee: The

main function of the assistant referee
is to judge offside, in addition to
helping the referee in situations that require it, since in some cases
such as throw-ins, goal kicks or corner kicks, among other decisions,
the assistant referees are not present.

Duration of the match: A

football match lasts 90 minutes with
two halves of 45 minutes each
separated by a 15-minute break.

Start and restart of play: Play

shall start with a kick-off – also called a
centre kick-off – at the beginning of each of
the two periods of a match, of extra time
and after a goal has been scored.

The ball is in play or out of

play: The ball is in play in all other
situations in which it comes into contact
with a member of the refereeing team
and when it rebounds off a post or
crossbar or the corner flag and remains
in the field of play.

Goal scored: A goal is

considered valid when the ball has
completely crossed the goal line between
the posts and under the crossbar,
provided that the team that scored the
goal has not previously committed a foul
or infringement of the Laws of the Game.
Off-side: A player is in an offside
position if he is "nearer to the opponent's
goal line than both the ball and the
second-last opponent", unless he is in his
own half.

Fouls and incorrect

actions: Fouls and incorrect actions
will be sanctioned as follows: Direct
free kick. A free kick will be awarded to
the opposing team if a player commits
one of the following infringements in a
manner that the referee considers to be
careless, reckless or with the use of
excessive force:

Free kick: This occurs when a team must

restart play from a dead ball because the
opposing team has committed a foul. The
ball must always be stationary and,
according to the rules, the barrier must be
located 9.15 meters away.

Penalty kick: This consists of taking a kick

from the penalty mark located 11 metres (or
12 yards) from the goal, and with only the
goalkeeper of the defending team between
the penalty taker and the goal. The penalty
is sanctioned by the central referee of the
match, when an infringement, foul or
handball occurs inside the area.

Throw-in: A throw-in is awarded

to the opponents of the last player to have
touched the ball before it has completely
crossed the touch line on the ground or in
the air.
kick: The ball was touched by a
Goal
player from the attacking team and
no goal was scored. executed the throw-in, a corner
kick shall be awarded to the opponent. If the ball goes
directly into the defending team's goal, a goal kick will
be awarded to that team.
Corner kick: A corner kick is awarded when the
ball has completely crossed the goal line, on the
ground or in the air, provided that the last person
to touch the ball was a player of the defending
team and no goal was scored.
