Program(SIRI)

Seoul National University School of Dentistry is a world-leading dental education institution equipped
with cutting-edge research infrastructure. SNUSD researchers are dedicated to integrative research of
clinical and basic dental science, consistently publishing an astonishing number of more than 300
articles every year in SCI-indexed journals. Supported by the SNUSD Dental Research Institute and
other Research Core Facilities, SNUSD has been recognized to have the optimum environment to
conduct research in various fields of dental science. Backed up by this research-focused atmosphere,
we would like to introduce the SNU Dentistry International Research Internship Program(SIRI) . The
program aims to nurture future dental leaders through the active exchange between dental university
students from all over the world.

SNU Dentistry International Research Internship Program(SIRI)


SNUSD's SIRI is a program where you can gain intensive laboratory experiences over a short period
of time as a member of one of our state-of-art dentistry research labs. Each participant will be guided
by a faculty of SNUSD, and under close supervision, will learn many different experimental methods
and undertake discussions with other researchers. Moreover, you can join multicultural exchange
activities that will help broaden your global perspective. After completing this program, you will improve
your abilities as a dental scientist with a global mindset.

[ Guideline for Application ]

Eligible Applicant : 1~2 of Undergraduate/Graduate students from dental schools

who were selected and obtained Dean’s Recommendation Letter

Application Deadline : 3rd June ~ 14th June, 2024

Program Dates : 1st August ~ 30th August, 2024(for 1 month)

Activities : Research work in each matched laboratory,


participation in various scientific programs of SNUSD

Required Documents : Application form(Word format attached), academic transcript (in English)
and recommendation letter from their Dean

Submission : Please submit the required documents via Google Form

Financial Supports
 All expenses for research work in the assigned laboratory
(Fee for the use of research resources and facilities are included)
 420,000KRW for other expenses that occur during the program period
 Dormitory or single room(off-campus accommodation near SNUSD) provided
 One round-trip flight (from/to: Incheon (ICN) or Gimpo (GMP))
 International insurance fee
