5) Vinisha Umashankar from Tamil Nadu recently spoke on clean

11) Tambaram corporation: The TN government has declared the

formation of the Tambaram corporation by promulgating an

12) Bala Sabha: The creation of ‘bala sabhas’ at all village

panchayats for children aged 12 to 18, on the lines of gram
sabhas, the introduction of a child protection policy at all
panchayats and urban bodies and a child safeguarding policy at
all schools are among the provisions envisioned in the Tamil
Nadu State Policy for Children

13) Freedom Fighters Exhibition was inaugurated in CMBT Bus

stand.

14) 25% reservation for widow and destitute women: The Tamil
Nadu government passed an order to provide 25% reservation
for widow and destitute women in jobs in anganwadi centres

15) TN CM Stalin has launched two web portals that use Tamil
computing software to ensure micro governance, ease of
doing business and develop a competitive edge for the state’s IT
and ITES sectors.

 The two web portals are named e-Munnetram and IT

Nanban. The two computing software programmes,
Keezhadi Keyboard and Tamizhi — Tamizhinayam
Unicode converter, are particularly aimed at tracking the
state’s 200 major infrastructure projects, costing more
than about one lakh crore.

39) The Jammu and Kashmir Delimitation Commission (headed

by retired Supreme Court Judge Justice Ranjana Prakash
Desai), has made the following recommendations in their
respective assembly:

 Increase six seats for the Jammu division and one for the
Kashmir division. Reserve 16 seats for the Scheduled Caste
(SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) communities.
