Pressmach set out as a manufacturer of

electrical insulation components, composite
plastics, and acoustic enclosures for diesel
generators in 1985.

Our founding goals were to supply an excellent

product, competitive value, and the highest
possible levels of local and personal service. By
1993, the company reached one of the top positions
in manufacturing prefab structures retaining its
glory for more than three decades till date.

Pressmach Infrastructure is a full-service, integrated engineering construction firm specialising in commercial, institutional,
and residential modular buildings. Pioneering the then zeitgeist pre-fabricated construction, Pressmach has brought
readymade building solutions to the country. With the fast-growing mode of modular construction, the company promises

 PREFABRICATION

Modern times require a modern approach. And that is why prefabrication is a much-preferred
method of construction for various purposes. It is an efficient alternative to civil construction that
heaps money, manpower, and energy resources. Prefab is faster, it can be relocated, it is customizable
and more sustainable construction in contemporary times will facilitate benefits in the future.
Prefabrication or prefab is a process of manufacturing and constructing different components of a
building in the factory. These prefabricated structures will then be transported to the worksite for
assembly and installation. Benefits of prefab construction include:

CONSTRUCTION
With prefab technology, the off-site fabrication process takes place in the factory parallel to the foundation
work that would be carried out on-site saving a lot of time. This reduces the overall project construction

The cost incurred with construction consists of three aspects on which prefabrication has a significant
impact: material, labour, utility consumption and time. Since most of the fabrication and welding work in
modular buildings are created off-site with advanced and automated machinery, the use of materials,
labour, and time are reduced which results in diminishing the cost to a great extent. Most importantly
the major costs that usually occur at a conventional site such as approvals, a large number of labours,
water, electricity, etc are all eliminated with prefab.

One of the major benefits of modular buildings is sustainability. With prefab construction, the flow of
material and construction waste is extremely minimal and it is carefully managed and also reused/recycled,
noise pollution is decreased as the modules are manufactured off-site and the assembly of units is
pre-planned which reduces the environmental impact that occurs due to construction activities. It has
been recorded that debris and waste from construction and demolition sites contribute to about 40% of
the world’s carbon dioxide emissions. Whereas with Prefab the raw materials are recycled and reused.

 1. FOUNDATION
AND FABRICATION
While the foundation is being laid out at the site, our
experienced manufacturing team prefabricates the
modules at our state-of-the-art factory. At Pressmach,
we use steel instead of iron, unlike other conventional
construction methods for a sturdy and easier
installation of the columns.

2. TRANSPORTATION
The prefabricated modules are transported to the site
with our large fleet of logistics. We take extreme care
and other safety me asures in transporting the
modules to avoid circumstances that may lead to
product defilement.

3. SUPER
STRUCUTRE ERECTION
The custom-made steel columns and beams are
erected with nuts and bolts. We use high-end cranes
and our experienced engineers to form the skeleton of
the building.

4. ROOF AND
WALL PANEL ERECTION
The prefab puff panels are fixed for the roof and the
walls using the tongue and groove method that allows
easy installation.

 5. MECHANICAL ENGENERRING
AND PLUMING
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations will
be fitted inside the frames. Each frame contains
separate parts of MEP installation enabling easy
dismantling.

6. HANDING OVER
The handover stage marks the culmination of our
construction journey, where we officially transfer your
completed building to you. Our support continues
post-handover with a warranty and dedicated team
ready to assist, ensuring a seamless transition and your
continued satisfaction.
