capacity of liquid is 750 Jkg-10C-1, find the heat energy given out.
3. 0.08 kg of a substance is heated from 30°C to 130°C when 2000 calories of energy is
supplied to it .Calculate the specific heat capacity of the substance in (a) calories, (b)
joules.
4. 0.50 kg of lead at 327°C is cooled to 27°C, when it gives off 22500 calories of energy.
Calculate the specific heat capacity of lead in (a) calories, (b) joules.
5. 272 calories of heat is required to heat 0.02 kg of a metal of specific heat capacity
170 cal kg-10C-1to a temperature T. If the initial temperature of the metal is 20°C,
calculate the final temperature T.
