as an automation tester. Experience with general software testing

Current Role and Responsibilities:

Test Engineer II

 Develop automation scripts of highly complex scenarios of Insurance

domain that involves premium deductions and verifications, claiming for a
claim, completing a claim, analysis of reports, claims trend analysis, etc.
 Responsible for creating correct test estimations and development of plan
prior to every sprint that are to be shared to the client to make sure the
quality releases should be delivered within stipulated time.
 Designed entire framework for the newly launched application so that
development of scripts can be done in an easy and organised manner.
 In depth analysis of the scripts execution is to be done prior of every
release.
 Part of an Agile process which focuses on maximizing the efforts leading
to high quality deliveries in less time of sprints.
 Works closely with the onshore manager to improve the quality of product
and provided some excellent suggestions for the growth of the
organisation like optimising the transaction script execution.

Role and Responsibilities:

Software Engineer –QC

 Performed manual testing of Proximus web application deployed on
amazon web services (AWS server) which includes regression testing,
functional testing and user acceptance testing.
 Designed POM framework of the application in selenium(using
WebDriver).
 Execution of complete test suite using TestNG which includes test
scenarios related to regression testing, user acceptance testing, etc.
 Test Planning and execution for Proximus Acceptance Test Plan.
 Performed performance testing using JMeter.
 Troubleshooting and analyzing critical issues found in live deployment.
  Part of the critical resource team which can be utilized on the priority
delivery.
 Adhoc testing on build before delivery to customer.
 Review of test cases and issues before reporting.
 Responsible for verification and validation of the modules.
 Work closely with other testers and developers to improve the quality of
the modules with bug fixes and feature requests.
 To give demo session before the module is ready for delivery for every

Description:

IPTV application consists of one server side application Total Manage and
Myrio Interactive software installed on STB.

TotalManage is a back-office server software application that enables TV

subscribers provisioning and management, content management, channel
packaging, transaction processing, billing and data collection. The application
can be launched from any web browser, making it accessible to authorized
users in a familiar web based environment. TotalManage allows operators to
improve scalability, performance and reliability while reducing operational
costs.

TotalManage server Software supports managing the following end user

services:
 Digital TV channel lineups
 Music channel
 EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
 PPV (Pay Per View)
 VOD (Video On Demand)
 Seamless software update (From TM server to Specific or group of
STB’s)

Myrio Interactive software provides different applications to the end users as

configured in Total Manage for the subscriber. User can rent movies, Pay Per
view programs, schedule reminders for particular program, View monthly bill
through Myrio Interactive software on TV (STB).

Witbe Video QOE Robots are used both for Testing and Monitoring on live
and on-demand services. Those reference users are connected and behaving
like real users. They evaluate the service actually delivered according to
what they see and hear, post-customer device.
