1. Find an employee (any employee, in private or public work).
 Christina Guerrero Cutaran. She is teaching at Bartolome Sanggalang National High
School in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, Philippines which is one of the public schools in the
municipality.

2. Have a short interview about his/her background and the nature of his work.
Write down a short profile for him/her. Do not forget to take a photo with the
employee for documentation purposes.
 Ma’am Christina Cutaran is a public school teacher, she teaches Filipino subjects at
the grade 10 level. She is currently teacher 3 and has 27 years in teaching 14 years in
private and 13 years in public. She only teaches her specialization which is Filipino
subject. Her work is a bit challenging for her because of the ever-changing
environment of school throughout time, however, she manages to handle it by
adapting to the differences of every individual who is in the process of development.
In addition, her responsibilities become more complicated because of the workload
that they need to accomplish in a short period.

Her current position is Teacher 3, similar to other positions at the high school level
she also teaches and manages an advisory class. She does lesson discussions every
morning and has different sections that need to be taught the entire day and the whole
week. She also assessed the classroom because this is one of the essential duties of a
teacher to assess the progress of the student, she always put an assessment after her
discussion to know when her students are attentive to her class and absorb knowledge
from the lesson. She conducted one-on-one conversations with her students, a coping
mechanism to see the status of the students while studying and to assist those students
who have concerns. She has different duties that are effective in maintaining the balance
inside the classroom these are conducting parents Parent-Teacher Association, attending
Seminars, and the Regulation Making Committee. Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is
one of the necessary movements in the classroom because this way the teacher and the
parents have the time to collaborate on their handling concerns this is being done during
many times of the school year to assess and observe the status of the students. She also
attends seminars from different agencies and schools because this can help her to get
ideas from it and apply them to her field perhaps the seminars can be used to contribute to
her rank. She helps the administration create rules and regulations for the school to ensure
the peace and safety of the community. Due to her rank, the amount of responsibilities is
different from other positions. While doing her work there is a person who oversees her,
the principal, is Ma’am Evelyn Saclao-Reyes. The observation of the principal is an
important thing in the workplace because it allows to see the performance of the teachers
and how they manage their classrooms.

 Attending different seminars

related to the job. Eight hours of duty.

 Ensure established communication with the students and parents.
 Formal communication with administration and organizations.
Job Characteristics: Teaching the students, particularly Filipino subject.
