Unit #1 Project

Psychology in Pictures

To demonstrate that you have mastered the concepts in this unit, your task is to find psychology all
around you. You will take pictures of the concepts you studied in this unit (learning and memory)
everywhere you go (school, work, home, out and about). You will then tell me where you took each
picture (home, work, school, on a trip, etc.) and describe how it represents the concept. You must
include five (5) concepts related to memory and another five (5) concepts related to the learning
chapter. You cannot re-use any concept or any picture more than once in your assignment. Submit your
final assignment file (with a total of 10 concepts) in Assignments Section in the Dropbox for Unit #1
Project.

IMPORTANT: These must be picture that YOU take (i.e., you must click them yourself) and therefore own
the rights to use. Screenshots are NOT acceptable. Using even one (1) image that you did not take will
be considered PLAGIARISM and will automatically result in a score of 0 and my issuing an Academic Alert
(as per Durham College’s policy and procedure related to academic dishonesty). You can use pictures of
yourself that others have taken (with their permission). You cannot use the same image more than once
in this assignment or take a picture of copyrighted material such as content inside your textbook, as
both would also constitute plagiarism.
Refer to APA Style guide 7th Edition for citing content from the course
material and visual images.
