TPL LOGISTICS will only accept legal and genuine products to be distributed through our C.O.D services.
Booking of Shipments: It is the responsibility of the shipper to ensure recipient payment at the time of
product drop-off and not the responsibility of your TPL Logistics representative. Cheques, P.O., Demand
Draft will not be accepted as modes of payment; only cash payment can be made. If the recipient fails
to produce required cash payment at the time of delivery, the shipment will not be delivered and will
be returned to the shipper. The shipper will be responsible for paying any courier charges for such
shipments. In case such a shipment is rebooked for the same recipient, it will be charged via a new
airway bill at the time of the second booking.
If there are any single COD shipments which involve cash collection of more than Rs. 100,000, TPL
Logistics has the right to request Shipper and Consignee to arrange self-Collection. The collection
amount at the time of order delivery will equal the amount indicated on the Consignment Slip
generated at the time of Booking of Shipment.
Reimbursement of collected amount: Reimbursement of collected amount will take place through a
formal receipt and exchange with the shipper. TPL Logistics will reimburse the payment within 3
working days after deducting service charges. Payment will be made through bank transfer / IBFT as
per instructions received through Account opening.
The volumetric or dimensional weight will be calculated and compared with the actual weight of the
shipment to ascertain which is greater; the higher weight, rounded up to the nearest kg will be used
to calculate the Service Charges. Following formula will be used to calculate volumetric or dimensional
weight: Width x Length x Height in cm / 5000 = Volumetric Weight in kilograms.
Above rates are inclusive of pickup and delivery charges. Exclusive of taxes. Revision of rates need to be
shared in writing with at least 30 days’ notice and subject to both parties mutual agreement.
APPENDIX D: OPERATIONS PROCESS
Pickups will be processed same day if orders are placed before 6 pm. anything after will be on a best
effort’s basis. Pick up location will be defined by shipper POC at time of booking.
There are 3 attempts for each delivery attempt. Delivery status and failed reasons to be shared. All
returned items will be handed back to shipper’s office within 3 working days
APPENDIX E: INSURANCE/CLAIMS
• To avail the insurance, customers will have to inform their concerned Account Manager prior
to opening the account.
• The insurance cost will be 3% of the value of Shipment for all the general items
• insurance cost will be 5% of the value of Shipment for electronic items
• Claims will only be acceptable for the shipments lost/damaged during transit, theft, snatching
and robbery. Moreover, for the accepted claims, 80% of the value will be reimbursed to the
client.
• Claims will not be acceptable in case of damage due to improper packaging of the product.
• The claim will be processed once the required documents are furnished. For example:
Purchase Slip, Clearing Documents, etc.
• Any claim for the shipment return/insurance/delivery/damage after 30 days of pick-up will not
be entertained.
• Once the Shipment is being delivered to the consignee, no claim shall be acceptable.
• Rider, will not be held responsible in case of any damage or harm done to shipments owing to
unforeseen or cataclysmic events, for example: earthquakes, fires, surges, mobs and strikes
etc.
Our Customer Support department will be operating from 09:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
All the queries/complaints related to the customer support will be entertained during the time
mentioned above.
The shipper must agree to the following terms and conditions. No agent or employee of TPL Logistics,
other than authorized personnel, and no customer may alter or modify these terms and conditions:
The Consignment Note: By signing this contract, the shipper agrees to the complete terms and
conditions mentioned in this consignment note. The shipper must warrant that he/she is the owner,
or the authorized agent of the owner of the goods transported by TPL Logistics, and thus has accepted
TPL Logistics’ terms and conditions on behalf of the owner, or as an owner, or on behalf of any other
person having an interest in the goods being transported.
Customer Obligations and Acknowledgments: The shipper warrants that each article in the shipment
is properly described in the TPL Logistics consignment note and the shipment details are complete and
accurate. The COD value on the airway bill is considered as final for any discrepancies or claims. The
shipper must make sure that the shipment is not declared as an unacceptable item by TPL Logistics,
and that the shipment is properly marked and packed to ensure safe transportation within a standard
handling environment.
Right of Inspection: TPL Logistics has the right, but not the obligation, to inspect any shipment
including without limitation opening the shipment if required by law and/or regulations. In this regard,
the Shipper/Sender/Client agrees that TPL Logistics may open and inspect a shipment for any reason
at any time as per its discretion. In that event TPL Logistics will exercise all the reasonable care, but it
shall not be liable for any damage to the shipment or any delay of the shipment or post arising as a
result of any such examination.
Lien of Goods Shipped: TPL Logistics shall have a lien on any goods shipped for all freight charges,
duties, advances, or any other charges resulting due to the transportation of the goods. TPL Logistics
has full legal rights for procession of the goods until such charges are paid.
The liability of TPL Logistics for any loss or damage to the shipment (which includes all documents given
to TPL Logistics along with the shipment) is limited to the last mile delivery charges, irrespective of;
the amount of loss or damage to the document or shipment, of the actual value of the document or
shipment, of the shipments commercial utility, and of the shipment emotional value to the customer
or shipper.
Consequential and Special Damage Claims: TPL Logistics shall not be liable for any consequential or
special damage claims or any other indirect losses, even if it is assumed TPL Logistics had prior
knowledge such damages may occur. Damages include, but are not limited to, loss of income, profit,
interest, use of contents and/or loss of market share.
Liabilities Not Assumed: TPL Logistics shall not be liable if a shipment is lost or damaged, misrouted,
or not delivered due to circumstances beyond control. These include; Act of God and Naturally
occurring disasters, “force majeure” such as war, plane crash, or embargo, or due to any mishaps or
national issues effecting TPL Logistics. TPL Logistics will not be liable if the customer arranged
transportation to any location not regularly served by TPL Logistics, and the shipment could not be
delivered. TPL Logistics is not responsible for magnetic energy erasure or any other such damages to
electronic or photographic images or recording in any form, or any other defects which may be part of
the shipment, regardless of whether or not TPL Logistics had knowledge of such defects at the time of
booking. TPL Logistics will not, under any circumstances, be liable for delay in pick up, transportation
or delivery of any shipment regardless of the cause of such delay.
Claims: Any claim must be brought forward by the customer and must be submitted in writing to
info@withrider.com, within 30 days. No claim for loss or damage will be given until all transportation
charges have been paid. The amount of any claim may not be deducted from any transportation
charges owed to TPL Logistics.
Applicability These terms and conditions apply to all operations of TPL Logistics, and any TPL Logistics
Pvt. Ltd. services being used by the customer, including its affiliated companies, their officers, directors
and employees.
Material Not Acceptable for Transportation: TPL Logistics will not accept the following as shipments;
currency, jewelry, Bullion, Antiques, Liquor, Stamps, Precious Metals, Precious Stones, Works of Art,
Fire Arms, Plants, Drugs, Explosives, Animals, Perishable goods and items, Negotiable Instruments in
bearer form, Lewd Objects, Obscene and Pornographic Material, Industrial Carbons and Diamonds,
hazardous or combustible materials, and all other items/articles restricted by IATA (International Air
Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and any item whose
distribution is regulated by law or by any statute of the Provincial or Federal Government of Pakistan.
Insurance: TPL Logistics may arrange insurance on behalf of the shipper upon request; however,
insurance is not included unless otherwise purchased at the time of booking. The insurance coverage
shall be governed by all the terms and conditions contained in the insurance policy issued by the
insurance company. Consequential damage or losses, damage resulting from delay of transportation,
or emotional damage claims are not covered by the insurance policy. Please note: TPL Logistics Pvt.
Ltd. and its employees, directors, and agents are not liable for certain losses and damages. Wherever
a liability is present, it is strictly restricted to last mile delivery charges.
IN COMPLIANCE WITH PAKISTAN’S POST OFFICE ACT 1989, TPL LOGISTICS PVT. LTD. WILL NOT ACCEPT
LETTERS AND POST CARDS, AS THEIR TRANSPORTATION IS THE EXCLUSIVE PRIVELEDGE OF THE
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
