Policy on Scope of Imaging Services


The Clinic shall provide all imaging services which are generally required with the scope of clinical services offered
by the hospital. The tests which are not available but required for clinical management shall be outsourced as per
policy of the clinic.
Purpose: -
• To effectively provide all radiology services as required by the scope of clinical services of the hospital.
• To ensure the required diagnostic services should available round the clock as we all during the Emergency
management of the patients.
Scope:
Front Office, Imaging/Radiology department
Definition / Abbreviations (If Any):
MRI: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
CT: Computer Tomography
GRE: Guest Relations Executive
Responsibilities:
Department of Radiology, Manager – Radiology department/ Imaging department, Front Office
(Radiology Reception)
Distribution:
Department of Radiology, Front Office Staff, Radiation Safety Officer, GRE
Process Detail:
Facility Available
Following imaging services shall be provided in Apollo Clinic (Outsourced Imaging Service Provider).
1. X-Ray
2. CT Scan
3. Ultrasonography
4. MRI
5. 2D / 4D ECHO
6. ECG
7. TMT
8. LFT / Spirometry
9. BMD
Following services are not available within the hospital and are duly outsourced:
1. Mammography
