1. Job Role and Responsibilities

As a Driver, your primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Here’s
an outline of the general duties of a driver:

1. Vehicle Operation:
o Drive the vehicle safely and responsibly according to traffic laws and company policies.
o Ensure the vehicle is operated in a smooth and efficient manner.
2. Vehicle Maintenance:
o Regularly inspect the vehicle for any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
o Perform routine maintenance like checking oil levels, tire pressure, and cleaning.
o Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs.
3. Route Planning:
o Plan and follow the most efficient route to ensure timely delivery or arrival.
o Use GPS or maps to navigate and avoid delays.
4. Safety:
o Follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
o Ensure passengers (if any) are safe and seatbelts are fastened.
o Maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
5. Delivery and Pickup:
o Transport goods, materials, or passengers to their destination safely.
o Ensure accurate delivery and confirm orders or receipts when applicable.
6. Documentation:
o Complete any required paperwork, such as delivery logs, fuel records, or inspection
reports.
o Maintain a log of working hours, route taken, and any incidents.

7. Customer Service:
o Communicate politely and professionally with passengers or customers.
o Assist with loading or unloading if needed.
o Ensure customers are satisfied with the transport service.
8. Compliance:
o Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including working hours, weight limits,
and licensing.
o Follow company policies related to transportation, safety, and conduct.
9. Emergency Response:
o Respond appropriately to emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns.
o Follow emergency procedures and notify authorities if necessary.
10. Fueling and Refueling:

 Ensure the vehicle is properly fueled and maintain fuel efficiency.


 Keep records of fuel consumption and report discrepancies.

2. Compensation and Benefits

As a Driver at ALSHAYA GROUP you will be entitled to the following:

 Base Salary: KWD 250 per month, paid monthly.

 Commission: In addition to the base salary, you will be eligible for commission based on sales
performance, according to the company’s commission structure.

 Annual Bonus: An annual performance-based bonus, subject to company performance and


individual goals.

 Annual Leave: 7 days per year.

 Health Insurance: ALSHAYA GROUP will provide you with comprehensive health insurance
coverage.

 Accommodation: A housing allowance of KWD 125 per month.

 Transportation: ALSHAYA GROUP will provide a company car or a transportation allowance.

3. Contract Duration

Your employment will be for a period of two years starting from the date of your joining, with the option
for renewal based on mutual agreement.

4. Penalties for Early Termination

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and agree to the following penalties if you choose to
terminate your employment contract before the completion of the two-year term:

 Notice Period: A written notice of at least one month must be given to the company if you wish
to terminate this contract prematurely.

If you fail to provide the required notice, the company reserves the right to deduct KWD 300 from your
final settlement.

 Penalty for Breach of Contract: In the event that you terminate this contract without proper
notice or before fulfilling the two-year term, the company may impose a financial penalty equal
to KWD 300 to compensate for the loss incurred due to early contract termination.

 Failure to Fulfill Duties: In the case of failure to meet key performance expectations or duties
outlined above, the company reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately, with or
without notice, and impose a penalty as deemed necessary.

5. Acceptance of Offer

To confirm your acceptance of this employment offer, please sign below and return this letter to us. Your
employment will be confirmed upon receipt of your signed acceptance.
