EMCEE SCRIPT FOR MSPC 2024

I. Call to Order:

 Good morning ladies and gentlemen, we are about to begin our Opening Program,
so please find a seat and make yourself comfortable. Thank You.

II. Opening Spiel:

 Martin Luther King once said, “If we want to change the world, pick up your pen and
write”.
 To our highly esteemed, guest speakers and judges, Ma’ams and Sirs
 Our proactive Public Schools District Supervisor, Ma’am Bernadita Q. Moreno
 To the ever dynamic School Heads and Principals of Santiago District:

 To our dedicated Administrative Officers who are here with us, motivated and
committed School Paper Advisers with our District Journalism Coordinator, Sir Juphil
Morano
 Event Coordinators, teacher coaches, young journalists coming from the different
schools of Santiago District, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant morning.
 Welcome to our Municipal Schools Press Conference 2024! With the

 Today, marks an incredible opportunity for us to celebrate the power of journalism
and storytelling- tools that shape our world and inspire change.
 It’s an absolute honor to see so many talented students, educators and guests
gathered here today, united by a shared passion for media and storytelling. My name
is _________________________
 And I’m _________________________________. Together, we’ll guide you through
today’s exciting program, filled with insightful talks, interactive workshops and
engaging activities that will equip and inspire us as aspiring journalists.

III. National Anthem and Prayer

 Before we begin, let us take a moment to pause and reflect. May we invite everyone
to rise for the invocation, followed by the singing of our National Anthem through
Multimedia.

IV. Welcome Address

 Please be seated. A wonderful journey can be only successful if it begins with


wonderful words of welcome. So, to officially welcome us to today’s event and set the
tone for our program, allow me to call on stage, the brilliant and competent school
principal of Santiago National High School, Mr. Jay P. Balesta!

V. Attendance Recognition

 Thank you so much sir Jay! This time we are going to recognize the different schools
and their young journalists, may we call on the youthful School Paper Adviser of
Kauswagan de Oro Elementary School, Mr. Rimjun C. Pero. Let’s give him a big
hand!
 Thank you sir Rimjun. Thank you also to our young journalists and teacher coaches.

VI. Statement of Purpose

 As we gather here today, it is important to reflect on the purpose that unites us. This
event is not just a gathering, it is a call to action, a celebration of truth, and a
commitment to shaping the narratives that define our world.
 That’s right Ma’am ______________. Today is about fostering the spirit of journalism
and empowering each of us to use our voices to create meaningful impact. To
formally articulate the vision and purpose of this event, we are honored to invite our
District Journalism Coordinator, Mr. Juphil Morano, let’s give him a warm round of
applause!

VII. Intermission Number


 As we continue with today’s program, let’s take a moment to pause and enjoy a
special performance prepared just for us by SILAW Dancers (or Performers).
 So, sit back, relax and let this incredible act ignite your energy and creativity. Let’s
give them a big round of applause as they take the stage.
 Wow! What an amazing performance. Let’s give another round of applause to SILAW
dancers for sharing their talent and passion with us.

VIII. Introduction of Speakers and Judges

 Moving forward, we come to one of the most anticipated part of our program-
introducing the distinguished individuals who will be sharing their expertise with us
today. These individuals are accomplished professionals in their fields and have
graciously joined us to inspire, guide, and enrich our learning experience.
 So, to introduce to us the speakers and judges of today’s event, let’s call on Mr.
Julious Rey Donque, School Journalism Coordinator of Jagupit National High School.
 Thank you Sir Jul, we are truly privileged to have such an esteemed lineup of
speakers and judges with us.

Message

 This time, let us be motivated mentally and emotionally with an inspirational message
coming from our PSDS, Ma’am Bernadita Q. Moreno. May we take pride in
welcoming her with a big round of applause!!
 Thank you so much ma’am for that wonderful words of enlightenment. Surely this will
uplift our spirits and would push us to work harder for the betterment of our schools
and district as well.

HATAW

 Alright, everyone! Let’s take a quick break from the formalities and get our energy
levels soaring! It’s time for some movement, fun, and excitement with our HATAW!
 That’s right! This is the perfect way to refresh our minds, boost our energy and get us
ready for the next part of today’s program. So, get up from your seats, clear some
space and let’s get moving, with the SILAW Dancers!
 Wow, that was amazing! How are we feeling everyone? We hope you feel recharged
and ready to tackle the rest of this activity.

Announcements

 To familiarize ourselves with what will take place today, may we listen to some
important reminders and announcements to be given by

 Alright! We’ve now arrived at the most excitiong and awaited part of today’s event-
