How to get started

with Midjourney.
Alright, step one, get yourself onto Discord.
If you're not already in the club, head over to
Discord's website and get yourself signed
up. It's free, so no excuses.

Once that’s sorted, swing by the Midjourney

website and hit that "Join the Beta'' button.
This'll sling an invite your way, granting you
access to the Midjourney Discord channel.

Click "Accept Invite," and boom, you’ve

joined the party! Welcome!

If you’re thinking:

“Hey, I’ve seen Midjourney’s website, why

do I have to use Discord?”

You’re absolutely right, to use Midjourney

Alpha, you first have to create 100
images on Discord.
Now, you need
to Choose Your Plan
Head over to one of the newcomer rooms
in the Discord channel and type in
"/subscribe." – This'll whisk you away to
a signup page where you can pick your
poison.

Plans range from $10 a month to $120 a

month. Take your pick, but choose
wisely.

Now let’s generate

your first image.
In Discord, type in "/imagine" to fire up
the image generator, toss in a text prompt,
and hit enter. Within moments, you'll be
staring at four variations of your
creation.

you’d like, and fire the prompt away!

When you’re looking to select/view one of

your creations, use the Upscale feature!

Although this used to upscale the quality, it

is now used to separate your images for
editing.

you can create any ratio you like by using
the “--ar #:#” parameter at the end of
your prompt.

The Stylization feature within the
Aesthetics Menu allows users to
customize visual aesthetics, such as
color schemes and typography, to
