General Rules and Regulations for Parents

Note : SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON THE SCHOOL CAMPUS.


The following rules and regulations should be read and observed closely by parents to ensure the healthy maintenance of
and adherence to the conditions that contribute to a sound academic atmosphere in the school. Parents who disregard
these rules may be asked by the Principal to remove their children from the school.
DECLARATION-ADMISSION

Name of the child : ............................................................................................ 2. Children must come to school properly dressed in the correct uniform as laid down in the School Diary. Children not
properly dressed may be excluded from their classes and teachers will bear no responsibility for the work missed. No
jewellery, excessive cash, or expensive items may be brought to school, and if so the school will not be responsible
for any loss or breakage.

3. ID cards should be worn and visibly displayed by students at all times. Any student who comes to the school without
an ID card may be asked to stay away from school.

III TRANSPORT

4. Admission to school does not imply that transport is guaranteed to every student. No parent may claim it as his/
her right. If it is not possible for the school to provide transport, parents should make their own arrangements. Parents
should arrange transport so that their children arrive at the correct time in the morning.

5. School transport is provided to students who live within the feasible limits of this service. Parents who wish to
make use of this service should check the routes with the transport department before applying for admission. Rules
regarding the transport service are contained in a separate sheet.

IV SCHOOL FEES

6. School fees should be paid regularly according to the rules laid down in the School Diary. Please note the following:-

a) FEES AND DUES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.


b) FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE ON, OR BEFORE THE 1ST DAY OF EACH CALENDAR MONTH.
c) FEES MUST BE PAID EVEN IF THE CHILD IS ABSENT.
d) FEES SHOULD NOT BE ENTRUSTED TO CHILDREN FOR DELIVERY.
e) FEES SHOULD BE PAID FOR HOLIDAYS WHICH FALL WITHIN THE ACADEMIC YEAR.
f) FEES SHOULD BE PAID FOR THE WHOLE MONTH EVEN IF THE CHILD STARTS LATE.
g) IN SEPTEMBER, THE SCHOOL STARTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH AND IN JUNE THE SCHOOL
FINISHES BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH. PARENTS SHOULD PAY IN FULL FOR BOTH THE MONTHS.
h) IF THE CHILD IS WITHDRAWN FROM THE SCHOOL, THE PARENT SHOULD CLEAR ALL DUES, INCLUDING
THE MONTH HE/SHE ATTENDED LAST IN FULL, EVEN IF THE ATTENDANCE IS ONLY PARTIAL FOR THAT
MONTH.
i) IF THE FEE IS NOT PAID BEFORE THE 15TH OF EACH MONTH, THE CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO

DECLARATION (For Kindergarten Admission)


1. Attendance of KG Orientation Meeting is compulsory to meet the class teacher.

2. Attendance of all Parent Teacher Meetings is a must.

3. Meetings with teachers at any time can ONLY be arranged by prior appointment.

4. Absolutely no birthday cakes are allowed in KG as per the rules of the Ministry of Health.

5. Only healthy food is allowed in KG.

6. NO toys, stationery, and /or canteen money is allowed in KG.

7. Children should wear COMPLETE SCHOOL UNIFORM, including white socks, black
shoes and tie.

8. A spare set of underwear and clothes MUST be given to KG during the Parent Orientation
Meeting.

9. No diapers and/or feeding bottles are allowed in KG. Your child MUST be properly toilet
trained prior to joining the KG.

10. Timing must be adhered to (at start and end of the day). Children should be at school by
7:30 AM and picked up before 1:00 PM.

11. Should your child remain in KG between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, a fee may be charged.

12. No sudden pick up of children will be entertained during the day. Do not send your
child/children to the school if you plan to collect him/her before the end of school.

13. No information about bus change, time of leaving, etc., will be taken by telephone, but
MUST be written in the child’s diary.

14. No child should be left on the school campus after 2:00 PM, under any circumstances.

15. Parent visits to classes/students are NOT permitted during school hours without prior
approval from the Kindergarten Head Teacher.

16. School will not be responsible after the child is picked up by the Private drivers.

UNDERTAKING FOR ADMISSION (ALL GRADES)


1. I declare that I will pay the school fees for my son / daughter on time and regularly.
Should the fees not be paid on time, the school has the right to suspend the student from
school until such time as the fees are paid. I also declare that I will pay school fees for
any and all days that the student is suspended due to indiscipline. I understand that
school fees, admission and tuition fee are not refundable under any circumstances.

2. I as a parent of a student at Al Noor International School understand that my child is not


allowed to leave the campus and wait outside the school gates after school. The school
will not be held responsible for the safety of my child should he/she leave the school gates
unaccompanied by a guardian. School will not be responsible once the child is collected
by Private Transport Drivers.

3. I understand that the school will not be able to provide transport for my ward during
his/her academic study at the school.

6. In the event of any indisciplinary actions by my child, punitive measures will be taken as
