Posit Overview:
As a Graduate Engineering Trainee at igus India Pvt. Ltd., you will be trained and made
industry ready to bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer needs. This
position is ideal for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who are passionate to improve
application engineering. You will be responsible for providing technical support, engaging
with customers to understand their needs, and delivering tailored motion plastics solutions.
Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product
development, and production, to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivering
solution-oriented approach on time.
This role involves travel and directly interacting with clients, conducting product
demonstrations, and managing on-site technical support. Your ability to build strong
relationships with customers and provide valuable insights will be key in driving business
growth.

Key Responsibilities of Graduate Engineering Trainees (GETs):


1. Customer Engagement & Sales Support
• Learn and understand igus product portfolio to effectively support customers.
• Engage with clients under supervision to develop and maintain business
relationships.
• Support the pre-sales process by helping customers with products selection,
specification and application and remote selling with IMPS.
• Participate in technical presentations and demonstrations (both virtual and in-
person) to showcase product advantages.
• Provide basic troubleshooting support to customers during installations, under the
guidance of senior engineers.
2. Business Development & Marketing
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential
clients.
• Assist in marketing activities, including preparing content for trade shows, seminars,
and online campaigns.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence, competitor data, and customer feedback.
• Work closely with the product and sales teams to understand custom technical
requirements and relay customer expectations.
• Use igus AI tools to create customized, targeted emails with precise technical
specifications tailored to customer needs.
3. Sales Performance & Reporting
• Support in monitoring and reviewing sales performance against assigned targets.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to aid business decisions.

Requirements & Skills:

✔ Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech)


& EEE field preferred.
✔ Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic mechanical & electrical concepts
and components.
✔ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
professional presentation abilities.
✔ Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to break
down and simplify complex problems.
✔ Proactive Attitude: High level of initiative and self-motivation; ability to work
independently with minimal supervision.

✔ Travel Requirement: Should be open to travel and explore for client visits, product
demonstrations, and on-site support.
✔ Team Player: High EQ, Empathetic and solution-oriented approach to break down and
simplify complex problems.
