Syllabus for Written Test / Examination for EOs and IOs of PERA
A) Legal and General Understanding:
i. Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Act, 2024 ii. Provisions of CrPC 1898, related to enforcement and regulatory functions (Chapter VIII, Chapter X, Chapter XIII and Chapter XIV, XXII) iii. Constitution of Pakistan 1973 (Part II, Part VII)

General Understanding of Geography of Punjab (location and boundaries, topography and physical features, climate and weather patterns, soil and vegetation, agriculture and natural resources, demographic and economic features and environmental issues). ii. Important places, important personalities, pre-partition and post-partition history. C) Cultural and Governance History of Punjab: i. Cultural history of Punjab (cultural influence of Muslim rule on Punjab, impact of Sikh and Colonial period on Punjab’s culture,) ii. Governance history of Punjab (Punjab during British Raj and post-partition governance in Punjab including role of local governments) D) Current Affairs: E) Basic Mathematics: F) Everyday Science: G) English Language Comprehension: i. English Language Comprehension (Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Correction, Sentence Completion, one-word substitution and Idioms) H) Knowledge of ICTs: i. Use of Mobile Apps in general. ii. Use of AI platform e.g. ChatGPT, Meta AI etc. iii.
