million people were affected, more collective efforts need to be made
Trade opportunities with CARs: Leveraging its strategic location, Pakistan can enhance trade
and connectivity with Central Asia and beyond. Advocating for Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), reducing
trade barriers, and integrating digital trade mechanisms can boost exports and strengthen regional
commerce. Synergies between the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and SCO connectivity projects further
position Pakistan as a key regional trade hub.
Security areas, reduce terrorism: Next regional anti-terrorism structure meeting (RATs) can help
intelligence sharing and capacity building initiatives between countries. Pakistan revive Afghanistan
contact group and raise the issue of terrorism.
Climate change efforts: Proposal for regional climate fund and technological cooperation for disaster hit
countries, cooperation with India to tackle the mutual issue of smog,
Stronger economic ties, more harmony that is needed for smooth sailing of cross border businesses
$70.3 billion Chinese development finance worldwide in Pakistan and $14 billion Russian projects of oil
and gas and power projects
