The transportation process is the process that succeeds the clearing process. That is after clearing

following:

1) The transport company looks for importers who wants their containers transported out of
the port either through custom brokage companies or through advertising and general
search for work.
2) When a customer is gotten, transportation negotiations between the importer and the head
of the transport company is made.
3) The fee charged is a function of the number of containers, destination and whether the
containers are to be returned or not,
4) The transport company then assigns the task to a driver(s)
5) The importer hands the relevant documents to the contracted transporter.
6) The transporter through the driver continues by presenting the documents at the container
terminal to show that all procedures have been fulfilled and container can be transported
out of the port.
7) The main document is the RTC ticket from the RTC terminal. The RTC ticket will prove
that all bills have been settled and that all invoices are up to date.
8) The RTC tickets show the number of the containers, the proposed time entering the
container terminal and even the location of the container at the terminal.
9) Verification of the RTC ticker by the authority at RTC still to verify conformity and
regularization of every invoices.
10) After presentation of the RTC ticket the fee of 4000fcfa is for the police and gendarmerie
to register the exit of the container.
