3rd Eye Practice
3rd Eye Practice
Practicing techniques to activate and open your third eye, also known as the Ajna chakra, can
enhance intuition, spiritual awareness, and clarity of thought. Here’s a comprehensive third eye
practice:
Preparation
1. Breathwork
● Deep Breathing
Inhale deeply through your nose for a count of 4, hold for 4, and exhale for 6. Repeat
this for 5-10 minutes.
● Focus on the area between your eyebrows (the third eye location) as you breathe.
2. Visualization
● Close your eyes and visualize a deep indigo light (the color of the third eye chakra)
glowing at the center of your forehead.
● Imagine this light expanding with each breath, cleansing and awakening your third eye.
3. Chanting Mantra
4. Meditative Focus
● Place a third-eye-enhancing crystal like amethyst, lapis lazuli, or clear quartz on your
forehead.
● Meditate while holding or wearing the crystal to amplify energy.
6. Eye Exercise
● With your eyes closed, gently roll them upward toward the third eye location. Hold for a
few moments and relax. Repeat several times to stimulate energy in this area.
7. Mindful Journaling
● After your practice, write down any insights, sensations, or thoughts that arise. This
helps you track your progress and deepen your connection.
Lifestyle Enhancements
Consistency is Key
Dedicate 10-20 minutes daily to this practice. Over time, you’ll likely notice increased intuition,
vivid dreams, or a greater sense of connection to your higher self.
