WHAT IS PEACE EDUCATION ?
Peace education is a holistic approach to learning that
promotes understanding, empathy, and conflict
resolution skills. It aims to create a culture of peace by
addressing the root causes of violence and promoting
values like equality, justice, and respect.

It involves Critical Thinking and Analysis, Conflict


Resolution Skills, Empathy and Understanding, Social
and Emotional Learning and Global Citizenship.
PEACEABLE TEACHING LEARNING
PROCESS

A peaceable teaching-learning process fosters a


positive and inclusive environment where
everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. It's
about creating a culture of peace within the
classroom and beyond.
Respectful Communication:
- Active Listening: Encouraging students to listen
attentively to each other's ideas and perspectives,
without interrupting or judging.
- Constructive Feedback: Providing feedback that is
specific, helpful, and focused on improvement, rather
than criticism.
- Non-violent Language: Avoiding language that is
hurtful, disrespectful, or inflammatory.
Inclusive and Equitable Environment:
