Packet Tracer – Point-to-Point OSPFv2 Network Challenge

Objectives
Part 1: Configure Devices and Verify Connectivity
• Conf igure the Hostnames of all routers based on their display name.
• Conf igure the IPv4 addressing inf ormation on all end devices as listed in the Addressing Table.
• Conf igure and activate all router interfaces with the IPv4 addressing information from the addressing
table above.
• Verif y network connectivity.
o PC1, PC2, and PC3 should be able to ping each other.
o PC4, PC5, and PC6 should be able to ping each other.
o PC7 and PC8 should be able to ping each other.

Part 2: Configure Single-area OSPFv2.


• Enable OSPFv2 on all routers using process-id 100.
• Conf igure Router-ID on each router.
o LEFT_WING = 10.10.10.10
o RIGHT_WING = 20.20.20.20
o PAGCOR = 30.30.30.30
• Conf igure Point-to-Point OSPF networks on all routers.
o On LEFT_WING, use the Network Address and Wildcard Mask f or all interf aces.
o On RIGHT_WING, use the Exact IPv4 Address and Quad-Zero Wildcard Mask f or all interf aces.
o On PAGCOR, conf igure OSPFv2 directly on the interf aces.
• Set the LAN interf aces on all router to Passive Interf aces.
• Verif y that all devices on all LANs should be able to ping each other.
