ILIYASU Muhammad Nasir was born in Nasarawa, Nasarawa Local Government Area, where
he completed his primary and secondary education. He holds a National Diploma (ND) and
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical Engineering Technology and is currently
pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering at the prestigious
University of Abuja. Iliyasu has built an impressive professional career, serving as a Resource
Person with the ICT Department at Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa from 2016 to 2021. During
this period till date, he is also contributing his expertise as a Resource Person at the Centre
for Entrepreneurship Development (CEDS) taking students practicals on Soap making and
Cosmetology at the same institution. He currently holds the position of Personal Relationship
Manager at Moniepoint Microfinance Bank.His leadership journey with Junior Chamber
International (JCI) began at JCIN Kaduna Polytechnic, where he served as Director of
Sponsors and General Secretary. In 2020, he was appointed Northern Collegiate Director of

For formal outfit, you can do the business formal dress code or the following:
Men – tuxedo, traditional dress (with headgear and not face cap)
Women – suits, traditional dress (headgear) or floor length dress

Protocol Precedence Rules
Note, while you are always a JCI Nigeria Officer even when attending events in your
Local Organization, if another JCI Nigeria Officer is visiting your Local Organization who
is either assigned to your Local Organization or holds a higher office, appropriate
respect and recognition should be given to your fellow officer

When greeting the audience, the order shall be:
Highest government official from the country, state or city, JCI Nigeria President, other
governmental officials, Local Organization President, Event Chairperson, Local Board of
Directors, JCI Nigeria Board of Directors, Presidents who served the Local Organization
throughout the years, Senators and members, ladies and gentlemen.
Note, All past JCI Presidents, JCI Nigeria Presidents and Local Presidents shall be addressed
as "President" and not "Past President" out of respect.

Written Communication
Proper grammar and etiquette in written communication is just as important as it is while speaking.
Keep in mind the following guidelines when sending any official written communication:
The only individual authorized to write on behalf of the Organization is the President. This applies
to the local, national, and international level. However, the President may delegate
communication to other individuals, such as the Secretary General or other officers
Administrative communication shall be done by the Secretary.
All other official communication (condolences, congratulations, etc) shall be done by the
President.
Official invitations shall be signed by the President and Event Chairperson and sent out by the
Secretary.
