IDAutomation Code-128 Font Package (Demo)

An intermittent "DEMO" watermark may appear at the top of the barcode in the "Sample" version of
these fonts, which may sometimes cause scanner read errors. A successful scan can be obtained for
testing purposes by scanning the lower portion of the barcode that does not contain the watermark. To

Windows installers are provided for this product as a courtesy. To install this product on Mac, Linux,
Android, iOS or other platforms the following two steps are required:

1. Install the desired barcode font. Refer to the chart below or the specifications from the online
user manual to determine the size that is needed.
2. Implement a font encoder to format the data to the barcode font. All Code-128 barcode fonts
require a start, stop and check character to be added to the text that is to be encoded, before
the barcode font is applied.

Seven versions of the Code 128 fonts are provided to support different height requirements. The last
character in the font name determines the height of the barcode with the shortest being "XXS" and the
tallest being "XXL". In most cases, taller barcodes result in faster scanning.
