I must first take the opportunity to thank “Intern Shala trainings" for giving
me this opportunity to complete my internship training in such a reputed
organization.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all the individuals who have
helped me to prepare this report.
Intern Shala is an internship and online training platform, based in Gurgaon, India. Founded
by Sarvesh Agrawal, an IIT Madras alumnus, in 2011, the website helps students find
internships with organizations in India. The platform, which was founded in 2010, started out as
a WordPress blog that aggregated internships across India and articles on education,
technology, and skill gap. Intern Shala launched its online trainings in 2014. As of 2018, the
platform had 3.5 million students and 80,000 companies.

graduate fully assured, confident, and prepared to stake a claim on your place in the world.
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. ORIGIN OF THE REPORT
1.2. OBJECTIVES
The main goal during the training is to understand what Android App development is and
what doesit consists of so we can work effectively. Making Android app which can help other
peoples. And making the Android app according to many organizations needs because now a
days all arecoming on online platform. So, to introduce themselves and what they will provide
and help peoples to get the information from their home, office, etc. No, need to go anywhere
for getting the information most of the times.
1.3. SCOPE
Android App development gives you the opportunity to express yourself creatively on the
internet. If you have an idea you would like to try as you discover your Android app development
skills. From this we can be a front-end developer, back-end developer, or even both.
1.4. METHODOLOGY
Waterfall methodology is mostly used for web development projects with a clear and
predefined scope, with a fixed timeframe for project completion and few iterations or revisions.
1.5. LIMITATION
To enrich and complete this report my level best attempt was given or
dedicated although there are some limitations. As this is my first report,
about the Web development Sector. So, I had to face many difficulties to
preparing the report.

2. ORGANIZATION
2.1. OVERVIEW
Intern Shala is an internship and online training platform, based in Gurgaon, India. In 2010,
Sarvesh founder & CEO, started Intern Shala as a blog with a mission to bring a culture of
meaningful internships in India. And for the first two years, he hired only virtual interns. In 2013,
After building a small team, they then launched our website with just one goal - to equipevery
student in India with their dream internship. And they did it all for free. In 2015, The next big
step could not have been anything other than launching their own Android app, bringing Intern
Shala in the ‘hands’ of the students. In 2016, After many successful years as an internship
platform, their motivation to upskill the students only increased, and that’s when intern Shala
kickstarted a new journey with Intern Shala Trainings. In 2021, With an insight that more than
90% of the graduates in India start their careers with a job that pays less than 3LPA,then intern
Shala came up with Jobs Oriented Specialization programs to help the students start their
careers in their dream profiles.

2.2. PRODUCT & SERVICES
1. Intern Shala Trainings: Intern Shala offers various training courses for the students
which they can do from their home. Courses are according to one’s need.
2. Internship and Job Search: Internship and job seekers from all over India can search and
apply for internships and jobs relevant to their coursework and interest free of cost on
intern Shala.
3. Internship and Job Posting: Organization & individuals looking to hire interns and/or full-
time employees can post their internship and/or job requirement on Intern Shala.
PART 3
WEEK 1: Introduction to Android and Android app
In week 1 I got to know what Android App development is. They gave me the introduction about
Android app and Android app development. Then after they started with IntelliJ gave me the
introduction and how to create the basic login page using XML . in week 1 they also tells about
us the history and from where Android App has been developed.
In week 4 and 5 They tells us about different types of project. Like making scroll view page
,adding dashboard and different things to the dashboard.
Week 6 and 7: Final report
In week 6 and 7 we came at the final project in which they ask to make a food delivery app like
Zomato And swiggy in which we merge all the scroll view dashboard type and login page to
make it more attractive.
And after that they tell us how to crack interview. How to speak and sit properly in interview.
How to make resume cover letter.
3. OBSERVATIONS:
While in this work from home (online mode) training with intern Shala trainings. I have learnt
how to make good looking Android app using XML, IntelliJ , Android studio , kotlin and what
database is and how we can connect to App using PHP and how does the database work. Got
to know how easy is to make designs on Android app using IntelliJ only and how better we can
Android app using our ideas and then implementing it. While in this training I got many
tasks/assignments and quizzes for more clarification of all like how to do and what to do when.
While, doing the Android app development trainings some new ideas are coming e.g., how to
make the existing one app more attractive.
4. Conclusion:
• So, for their advertisement how important Android app are. This Android App
development training course was designed to quickly get you up to speed on how to make
Android apps for Android devices. This Android development training course taught us
the basis of the Android platform and the application lifecycle. We were able to write
simple GUI applications, use built-in widgets and components, work with the database to
store data locally, and much more by the end of this Android training course.
• The journey was Interested in learning how to make Android apps, and Learning Android
programming (Kotlin and XML). Introduction to Android Programming and a Small intro
to Advanced Android Programming makes it easy and efficient to learn Android
development.
