Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the position of Software Engineer - Intern (Remote). With a unique
background that combines a master’s in biotechnology and a bachelor’s in chemistry, along with
a strong commitment to developing skills in software engineering, I am eager to bring my
passion for technology and problem-solving to your team.

I have completed the Micro Master’s Program in Software Development through UBC-Edx,
where I gained foundational knowledge in Java and JavaScript, as well as the Computer Science
Essentials for Software Development by Pennx-Edx, focusing on Java. Additionally, I have
learned C++ through Udemy and have been actively exploring hands-on projects to deepen my
understanding. My original interest lies in working with Angular and TypeScript alongside
Spring and Java, and I am continually building my skills in these areas through practice projects.
While I may not yet be an expert, I am dedicated to refining my abilities and confident in my
potential to make a meaningful contribution.
