IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.

XX Installation must be performed by a licensed contractor or a trained professional, who will


ensure proper assembly and installation.
XX Installation must be performed by at least 2 people.
XX Improper installation of this product can cause serious or fatal injury.
XX Improper Installation may result in permanent damage to the bed.
XX The wall bed must be secured to the wall in four locations using appropriate hardware. The
contractor or installer must select the proper anchoring hardware.
XX The wall anchors included are for solid concrete walls only.
XX Walls with wooden studs: Wood screws must be screwed into wooden studs in the wall.
XX Any other wall composition: A proper wall anchor suitable for the wall’s construction must
be selected by the contractor or installer.
XX No anchor can be used twice. If the product is removed from the wall, new anchor holes must
be drilled and new hardware must be used.
XX All hardware must be properly tightened. No parts of the model should be left loose or unstable

Screw 4 A pins into both the 1 right vertical and 2 left vertical panels.

Attach the 3 horizontal top and 4 horizontal bottom panels to the veritcal panels by inserting and
tightening 8 B cams.

Attach the 7 lower back panel to the structure with 14 C Phillips screws.

Fasten the 16 mattress support bars to the 5 bed frame using 2 D hex screws.

Remove the plastic blocks on both the 1 right and 2 left vertical panels by removing the hex screws.

Attach these blocks to the pins on each side of the 5 bed frame, as shown.

Position the bed frame within the structure as shown below, ensuring that the plastic blocks fit into the metal
slots on both vertical panels (where they were originally positioned).

Attach the bed frame to the structure by re-inserting and fastening the screws from each plastic block on
both vertical panels (det. 5a).

Close the bed frame and ensure that it is locked in its upright position. Do not attempt to reopen the bed
frame until the unit has been anchored to the wall.

ASSEMBLY OF THE PISTONS
Stand behind the structure and reach through the open panel to access the piston hooks and ball joints.

Place the pronged end of the 7 pistons onto the piston hooks on
each side of the bed frame.

Secure the pronged end of the pistons to the hooks by attaching
the fixing pins, as shown in images 6 and 7.

Attach the top end of the 7 piston to the ball joints on each
vertical panel, as shown in Image 9.

PISTON MAINTENANCE: Only use a dry, soft cloth to clean the pistons.

Place the 9 back panel spline in the slot on the 8 lower back panel that has already been secured to the
structure.

Then, place the 8 upper back panel on top of the spline, fastening it to the structure with 14 C Phillips
screws.

Ensure that the structure is level and plumb.

To compensate for any floor unevenness, use the adjustable feet on the 4 horizontal bottom panel
(det. 10a) to level the structure.

Configure the 4 WB wall mounting brackets as
pictured.

Align the brackets across the top of the structure and mark the
point where you will drill a hole for the WA wall anchors.

Attach the bracket to the wall using the appropriate wall anchors.

chors included are for solid concrete walls only.

Attach the bracket to the cabinet by using 4 WC screws.

Use bracket adjustment screw to ensure the bed is plumb.

OPERATING THE BED
To open the bed, gently lift one of the two legs upwards so that it unlocks the safety latch directly above it.

If the leg is lifted too much (lying perpendicular to the structure), pull down on the safety latch directly above
to release it. Do NOT attempt to open the bed without unlocking the safety latch first.

The safety latches will automatically lock once the bed is fully open.

To close the bed, push down on one of the safety latches and lift the bed to its upright position.

INSTALLING THE MATTRESS & HEADBOARD

Attach headboard (if client has ordered one) to ‘snap fasteners’ on the back panel.

Secure the mattress to the bed frame by fastening the buckled straps like shown below.
