Madam,
Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association
(JKEEGA) a representative body of Graduate Engineers of J&K Power Sector , has
been persuing continuously for recruitment of Junior Engineer's (Elect.) in the
Unbundled corporations of Power Development Department.In this context, the
relevant indents , along with S.O under reference (1) with respect to enabling
Provisions for carrying out of recruitment exercise by JKSSB for the corporations
was also got issued after hectic efforts.
Further , in response to your query regarding interview exemption sought
from General Administration Department since July 2024 , was also got resolved
and a Cabinet Decision was also got approved in the favour of exemption of
interview and adoption of written test based assesment to Fastrack
recruitment.A S.O under reference (2) after approval from Hon'ble Lieutenant
Governor was issued on 14th Feb 2025.
Now , it was expected that the advertisement of the posts of Junior
Engineer (Elect.) Would be issued on fast track basis without further loss of time
, however even after a week's time , we write to you anticipating the issuance of
advertisement of the said recruitment process of Junior Engineer (Elect.)
We urge you to issue instructions down the line to issue the advertisement at an
earliest so that candidates can apply and the indenting corporations who are
also suffering on account of skilled manpower is also addressed on priority.
