In 2001, the figure for people working in sales dominated the rankings, at nearly 160,000
people, which was 8 times higher than that in farming, at merely 21,000 people.
Following behind, the number of accountants ranked second with approximately 60,000
employees. Sharing relatively similar figures, the figures for individuals working in
computing and nursing stood at 60,000 and 58,000 people, respectively.
After 7 years / In 2008, the number of salespeople increased slightly to 162,000 people.
Having an identical trend, the figure for nurses also experienced a minimal rise to exactly
60,000 employees. There was also a growth in the number of computer engineers, albeit
more pronounced, to 80,000 people. In contrast, fewer people selected the accounting
industry in 2008, with only 60,000 people (with a decline of 2,000 people). Although
farming was the least popular field in the first year, it continued to witness a drop in the
number of farmers with a negligible value of 20,000 people.
