The Seminar on "Web Designing – Essentials & Future Trends" explored fundamental
concepts of web design, including UI/UX principles, responsive design, and modern
development frameworks. It also highlighted emerging trends such as AI-driven design, no-
code platforms, and the role of accessibility in shaping the future of web development.

WELCOME ADDRESS
Dr. B. Rex Cyril, Coordinator (Shift 2), Department of Computer Science (Shift-II)
commenced the program by extending a warm and gracious welcome to the gathering, setting
a positive tone for the event.

HONORING THE GUESTS


Dr. B. Rex Cyril, Coordinator (Shift 2), Department of Computer Science (Shift-II)
honored the Mr. A. Charles, Head, Department of Artificial Intelligence, with a shawl.
Dr. L. Arockiam, Head, Department of Computer Science, honored the Resource Person,
Mr. K. Ronald Rose, with a shawl.

INTRODUCITON OF THE RESOURCE PERSON


Mr. C. Mohanraja, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science (Shift-II),
introduced the Resource Person, Mr. K. Ronald Rose to the gathering.

SEMINAR SESSION
Mr. K. Ronald Rose, Web Administrator, ERP, Holy Cross College, Trichy, delivered an
insightful session on website design and development. He explained the fundamentals of web
design and demonstrated the step-by-step process of creating a website. He introduced
various software and tools essential for development, with a detailed explanation of XAMPP
and its components, highlighting its role as a local server for testing and deployment.
He then delved into the coding aspects of web design, covering essential languages and
frameworks. Through live demonstrations, he explained the logic behind structuring web
pages and writing efficient code. His practical examples and best practices made the session
informative and easy to follow.
To reinforce learning, he conducted a hands-on session where students could apply the
concepts in real time. After his demonstration, he invited a student to do a demo, making the
session interactive and engaging. This approach helped students gain practical experience and
confidence in website development.

FEEDBACK SESSION
The session concluded with a feedback segment where participants shared their thoughts and
experiences about the seminar. They provided valuable insights, highlighting key takeaways
and areas for improvement.
