Description

 The Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) guides


rescuers to aircraft in emergencies.

 An ELT must be programmed with a unique


identification code to be transmitted in an
emergency.

 The ELT Coding Sheets help provide Honeywell with


the data required to program the ELT.

-Aircraft MSN field – will allow N/A entry
-Purchase Order Submitted by drop-down value: Airbus, Boeing, Airlines

Purchase Order Submitted By refers to


who submitted the original purchase order.
For example:
if Airbus or Boeing submitted the purchase order
on behalf of the airline customer, Airbus or
Boeing would be selected.
If the airline placed their own purchase order,
Airlines would be selected.
