 The Main Archive - Astromechs

In here are all the main full scale Astromechs (see above for the variants).
The build is modular and there’s two main versions: V2 and MKIII.
The V2 is for a 200mm bed printer and above, the MKIII is for 500mm beds and above (The body is 463mm diameter).
Main modules you can mix and match (so V2 dome will work with MKIII body which works with V2 legs etc).
For the drive system it’s highly recommended to use MKIII feet and drives on all models, other than that, the two versions are pretty
similar in features etc.
The best place to start is to build and finish a dome, then the body, then the legs / feet.
Check the “Instructions” folder, there’s lots of guides for the various modules.
For electronics, there’s lots of options, but for the main control system check out Padawan 360 and for lights check out Teeces R2D2

Full scale prop: Ark of the Covenant
from Raiders of the Lost Ark
A stunning prop / item for any Raider of the Lost Ark fans.
The Ark of the Covenant, full scale and crazily accurate to the original.
This came from a chat I had with the lovely Philip Wise at Celebration,
(Official Pix and Rebel Scum). He has made his Ark Replica a number of
years ago (photo below) using references from when Official Pix had the
Indiana Jones LFL photo / autograph licence.

It's based on a massive amount of research and reference material. Bruce Lee (his friend and member of this group) made this amazing model and Adam Savage also provided photos
with a tape measure for scale. From this Philip created his replica and made around 25 kits with Blue Realm which are long sold out.
There is obviously still demand to make this stunning piece, so Philip decided it's time to share the files with our group so folks with 3d printers can now make their own Ark of the
Covenant.
The files are highly detailed and quite large in some cases (I'll eventually cut some down for FDM, supports will be needed, unless you make a few cuts to ease printing.
