A Happy Day in My Life
Good morning everyone,
Allow me to introduce myself. I'm A. Now I'm attending Grade-3, IPS-II Kyaukpadaung. It's such an honor to present on this stage. Today, I want to talk about one of the happiest days of my life. It was my birthday last year. That morning, I woke up feeling excited. My parents and my little sister came into my room and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. They gave me a big hug and a small gift. When I opened it, I saw my favorite book. I love reading, so I was really happy. At school, my friends made my day even more special. They had secretly made a big birthday card for me. It was full of sweet messages and funny drawings. When they gave it to me, I couldn't stop smiling. We played together during break time and laughed a lot. Even my teacher wished me a happy birthday in front of the class. That made me feel proud and special. After lunch, my parents came to school and requested permission from my teacher, so I didn’t have to attend the afternoon session of school. Instead, our family went to a beautiful pagoda. We offered flowers, lit candles, and prayed together. It was a peaceful and meaningful moment that made me feel grateful for everything I had. After that, we went to a playground, where my little sister and I had so much fun on the swings and slides. We laughed, ran around, and enjoyed the fresh air. Spending this time with my family made the day even more special. In the evening, my family planned a small party at home. My cousins and a few close friends came over. We played games and ate a delicious cake. The best part was when my best friend surprised me with a handmade scrapbook. It had pictures of our best moments together and little notes about our friendship. That made me feel truly grateful. That day, I realized happiness is not just about gifts or parties. It is about the love and kindness of the people around us. It is the little moments that make a day truly special. My birthday was filled with love, joy, and laughter. I will always remember it as one of the happiest days of my life. Thank you for giving me your precious time. I hope you all have a great day. My Town Good morning everyone, I'm A. I'm a Grade-3 student from IPS-II Kyaukpadaung. It's my pleasure to meet you all. Today, I want to talk about my town, Kyaukpadaung. It is a peaceful and beautiful place in Myanmar. The people here are kind and friendly. Everyone greets each other with a smile, and neighbors help one another. Life in Kyaukpadaung is simple but happy. Kyaukpadaung is in Mandalay Region, near Mount Popa. It is not a big town, but it has everything people need. There are seven quarters, and each has its own special places. Some have busy markets, while others are quiet and peaceful. People live together like one big family, helping and respecting one another. One of the special places in my town is Myo Oo Aung Zay Ti, a famous pagoda where many people go to pray. Another special place is Kaung Ti Hill, which stands in the south of town. The hill is high, and the view from the top is very beautiful. Not far away is Popa Taung Kalat, a pagoda on top of a volcanic rock. It is famous for its great view and the stories of Nat spirits. Many people visit to pray and enjoy the scenery. Some also climb to the top to see the beautiful surroundings. Kyaukpadaung is also known for its busy market, where people sell fresh fruits, vegetables, and tasty snacks. The most famous food here is Mont Pyar Tha Lat, a soft and sweet pancake. Another popular snack is fried potato chips, which are crispy and delicious. Our town is also known for jaggery, a sweet treat made from palm sugar. Many visitors buy it as a gift. In the evening, many children play outside, and families sit together in front of their homes. There are also cycling groups in town. People of all ages ride bicycles together, enjoying the fresh air. Sometimes, my family goes for a walk near the pagoda or buys snacks from the market. These small moments make life in Kyaukpadaung special. I love my town because it is full of kind people, peaceful places, and delicious food. It may not be big, but it is my home, and I will always love it. Thank you for your listening. I hope you all can visit Kyaukpadaung one day and see its beauty.
