IS SOCIAL MEDIA HARMFUL?

The world is evolving dramatically fast these years, which is mainly good and pivotal for
human evolution, nevertheless there are some disadvantages to this, because there is not
an appropriate scrutiny of the technology that is on the market and some of them might
cause addictions etc….
However, these new inventions are just tools, so they're not good or harmful, and we
humans are responsible for using it appropriately

On the right hand, social media has changed the world as we knew it, letting us share data
around the entire world, easily and quickly, and has allowed people to chat at thousands of
kilometers of distance, to my mind is it an invention that let anyone learn anything from his
house easily, I learned programming, math and even the same english I’m writing this with,
as well as many other skills.

On the other hand, they’re the cause of many addictions and social pressure, and they can
make someone feel disappointed with himself with all the perfect lives you can find on social
media, and as I personally have been able to see, abuse through the impersonality of social
networks.

Albeit, we can’t judge their effect on society by things we’re provoking ourselves, to prevent
this some measures we could apply to improve this plight are teaching the next generations
to give better function to social media and restrict youths’s access to electronic devices.

Because evolution is humans' most remarkable skill, we’ll just have to learn how to live
correctly with these changes because after all, there's just a generation that has lived with
technology as this since they were born. Society just needs a little bit more time to improve
on this to end social networks trouble.
