2 You are working for the mail order company ‘Otto Versand’. Look at the prices for the items above
and answer the telephone enquiry.

You (Otto Versand, can I help you?)

You (Yes, what would you like to order?)
Customer Also, Katalogseite 23, das Stretchkleid, was kostet das?
You (One moment, that‘s 10 euros and 99 cents.)
Customer Und die Strandschuhe, immer noch €32.90?
You (No, they are now 34 euros and 90 cents.)
You (54 euros and 90 cents.)
Customer Vielen Dank, ich schicke Ihnen dann meine Bestellung per Fax.

3 You have been selected by the TV series What not to wear. You have €300 to spend on new clothes.
Select items of your choice, say how much each item costs and give a reason why you like them. How
much have you spent altogether?

Example:
macht zusammen 268 Euro.

4 Work in pairs. Select a piece of clothing and ask whether your partner likes it. Your partner finds
something s/he likes better.

Example:
A Gefällt dir dieser Rock?

A Gefällt dir der schwarze Anzug?
